Notability of Overland Amusement Company

Hi. Please do not remove speedy delete requests on pages that you have created yourself.

Looking at other chatting on this page, I think that you do know that you may not do that and also for removing the deletion tag from you page, I am giving you an official vandalism warning.

Please do not delete content from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Denis Casavant. Your edits do not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Info source

I like the template, {{RoughridersQB}}, that you added to Bob Ptacek. Do you have a source for CFL player information. With the NFL and Arena Football I have been able to find websites with statistics for any player's entire career in either league. I can not find a website to look up CFLers. Adding unsourced categories

Do not add categories to articles unless there is sourced text in the article that backs up the category, as you did to Alex Trebek. Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. Ward3001 (talk) 22:39, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

Thank you so much for adding references, the templates for the coaches, and the categories!! I have modified your references using Wikipedia:Citation templates in the article Jim Eddy, but I didn't wikify the reference links in Ken Miller (football coach) . I also added a few of the (categories of wikiprojects) wikiprojects the articles belong to (this banner is added to the talk page). Adding as many stub categories and wikiprojects notifies other editors about the article, and if they wish to expand it, they can find it easier, and it grows in that way. 1954 NBA All-Star Game

Re. 1954 NBA All-Star Game

I have added a couple of tags to the top of this article, suggesting some improvements.

1. It should have a short paragraph at the top of the article, explaining what it is all about. For example, "The 1954 NBA All-Star Game was an American football played in Madison Square Garden, New York, NY on January 21, 1954."

This would be much better than just listing the facts as bullet-points.

There may also be an infobox template that could be used to list the facts.

2. The external links should say what they link to - at present, they just give numbers, which doesn't show what the links are. For example, you could put [http://www.google.com/ The Google search engine]. This would look like;

Signing warnings

Hi. Thanks for the vandal patrolling. It is really helpful to admins like myself when following up on WP:AIV reports if when folks leave u3, u4, and u4im messages like you did on User talk:24.11.97.158 that there be a signature (~~~~) after the warning so we can easily see when the last warning was left. This is especially important on IP editors. Otherwise we have to match the warning to the history and compare that to the last edit, with is about twice as complex. That being said, thanks for the warnings being issued. I found the page on new page patrol. I was SO IMPRESSED by your effort that I decided to nominate it for the Did You Know section on the main page for the best new articles (or best new content). Great job! You can find the hook at Template_talk:Did_you_know#Articles_created.2Fexpanded_on_June_12 for about 7 days until it gets put in the holding queues. It will sit in one of those queues for up to 2 days before it appears on the main page in about a 7-9 days. I was able to verify that it meets all of the criteria to appear on that page. Bethenny Frankel

Hi there. You recently posted two requests to RFPP for List of Preakness Stakes broadcasters and List of Kentucky Derby broadcasters to be protected due to vandalism. I see that this "vandalism" - probably not accurate; it's more of a content dispute - is referring to an IP editor who is adding in reporters. Per your ref here, it states, "“Housewives’” Bethenny Frankel, a fashionista, racing aficionada and bestselling author, will provide a female perspective to handicapping and betting at the fillies’ race...". At face value, this would seem to meet the definition of reporter. Can you comment on why you do not want Frankel included in this list? Thanks! Tan | 39 01:34, 14 June 2009 (UTC)
