UST template

Do you realize that you added this tag to articles that are irrelevant to the political status of these places? Virtually in everything involving sports these countries are regarded as independent by the IOC, so its ridiculous that an article covering the "National basketball team of the Virgin Islands" would be tagged with something that is purely political. 166.172.186.8 (talk) 00:19, 2 December 2015 (UTC)

I'm sorry, I set my talk page to archive automatically at the beginning of each month, and seeing as you left this message on 1 December means that this didn't get transferred to my archives. I didn't delete this message, in fact the only way I found out about it was because somebody tagged me at WT:Puerto Rico and then I saw the discussion. I agree with you on some points, but as I'm currently the only member of WP:UST I can't make the policies myself. I already asked for opinions and so far I've got nothing. If a list of articles you find irrelevant to WP:UST's scope (which is currently rough) can be created, then I (or anyone else with AWB) could remove the project tags. In the meantime, I urge you to make an account and take in the comments the people at the Puerto Rico project have given you. Regards JAGUAR  18:51, 3 December 2015 (UTC)

Britsoft

Thought you'd be into this: http://readonlymemory.vg/shop/book/britsoft-an-oral-history/ czar 14:38, 5 December 2015 (UTC)

Thanks, czar! I'm liking the look of it. If there's a lot of development information in there then it could potentially produce 50+ GAs. I might see if I can get this through the Wikimedia grant, or another way. JAGUAR  16:13, 5 December 2015 (UTC)
@Czar: I noticed that you started the book and Britsoft articles. It looks very interesting, so if I get the book I'll let you know. JAGUAR  16:24, 5 December 2015 (UTC)

Nomination to good article

The page for Alan Moore (war artist) has been nominated for good article status. A reviewer is needed as the first reviewer, User:Mitch Ames is not qualified. JerrySa1 (talk) 21:10, 5 December 2015 (UTC)

I remember you and Ssven2 deciding to make Space Jam a GA. What is the progress, Jaguar? Pavanjandhyala (talk) 15:51, 8 December 2015 (UTC)

Hi Pavan. I think I can make a start on it now as I've finished writing a few other articles I brought to GA. I have never worked on a film GA before so I think I'll be using other articles for reference. I'll use the links at User:Ssven2/Space Jam for sequel information however I can't find anything on production (yet). I think it will be difficult to find such information as I don't know where to look but I'll keep trying, and once I found the information I'll start writing. JAGUAR  16:03, 8 December 2015 (UTC)
I would suggest you to ask Dr. Blofeld and Ssven2 for help in finding the sources. All the best with your current projects and Space Jam. My GA streak has become 21-0, and i hope it will not become something like Mark Calaway's highly popular streak. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 16:21, 8 December 2015 (UTC)
Congratulations on your streak! I think I failed my first five GANs back in 2010, so I can't remember my streak. I'll ask Dr. Blofeld and Sven later at some point. It would be great to work on a film GA! JAGUAR  16:27, 8 December 2015 (UTC)
It will be, esp. when that "His Evilness Himself" and "The Kindhearted fellow" collaborate with you. Pavanjandhyala (talk) 16:34, 8 December 2015 (UTC)

Hi, can you review this? I was going to ask West Virginian but he doesn't seem that active at the moment. I couldn't find a wealth of info about it online. I think if it is to improve further it would need info from the museum there itself.♦ Dr. Blofeld 15:07, 10 December 2015 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!

Something special

Thank you for another GA review! I stopped counting: you are amazing! - I have a special challenge for you: Christ lag in Todes Banden, BWV 4, written by two people and heading for FA ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:20, 18 December 2015 (UTC)

Thank you Gerda! I'll be happy to take that review. I should start it later this afternoon... JAGUAR  11:43, 18 December 2015 (UTC)
Thank you so much for taking that. - Could you imagine to look at one more? Unser Mund sei voll Lachens, BWV 110, - it's for Christmas, - DYK check said it was 5* expanded, so I didn't push for a review, but something seems wrong with the check ... --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:39, 20 December 2015 (UTC)
Sorry for missing the review Gerda! I was about to take it today but Yash has stepped up. I'll take another look at Christ lag in Todes Banden, BWV 4 now as I see it's received a couple of comments... JAGUAR  14:45, 21 December 2015 (UTC)

There will always be more;) - such as BWV 58, for 3 January, --Gerda Arendt (talk) 10:54, 29 December 2015 (UTC)

@FrB.TG: thanks for wishing me a happy Christmas! I've just finished my comments for the peer review. Overall it's a good article and I couldn't find anything major with it. If you need my help in anyway with it, please ask. JAGUAR  22:07, 19 December 2015 (UTC)

GA reminder

Hi there. I should probably have pinged you when I first put in the message, but I've addressed the issues you raised in the GA review of Tales of Destiny 2. --ProtoDrake (talk) 21:47, 19 December 2015 (UTC)

Sorry for the delay. I've been distracted from Wikipedia today. By a miracle, I just this second promoted it a minute before you sent this message. JAGUAR  21:48, 19 December 2015 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!

The Special Barnstar
Out of my four GAs, three were reviewed by you. I never told you how grateful I am to you for those reviews. Thank you! :) -- Frankie talk 11:17, 21 December 2015 (UTC)

Oh BTW would you mind reviewing this one? :D -- Frankie talk 11:17, 21 December 2015 (UTC)

I second Frankie, mine are two GA's by you. Thanks for your work as a reviewer here. Yashthepunisher (talk) 11:30, 21 December 2015 (UTC)
Thank you both! I'm always happy to review your articles. Speaking of which, I've just taken Appian Way Productions! JAGUAR  14:55, 21 December 2015 (UTC)

WikiCup 2016 is just around the corner...

Hello everyone, and we would like to wish you all a happy holiday season. As you will probably already know, the 2016 WikiCup begins in the new year; there is still time to sign up. There are some changes we'd like to announce before the competition begins.

After two years of serving as WikiCup judge, User:Miyagawa has stepped down as judge. He deserves great thanks and recognition for his dedication and hard work, and for providing necessary transition for a new group of judges in last year's Cup. Joining Christine (User:Figureskatingfan) and Jason (User:Sturmvogel 66) is Andrew (User:Godot13), a very successful WikiCup competitor and expert in Featured Pictures; he won the two previous competitions. This is a strong judging team, and we anticipate lots of enjoyment and good work coming from our 2016 competitors.

We would also like to announce one change in how this year's WikiCup will be run. In the spirit of sportsmanship, Godot13 and Cwmhiraeth have chosen to limit their participation. See here for the announcement and a complete explanation of why. They and the judges feel that it will make for a more exciting, enjoyable, and productive competition.

The discussions/polls concerning the next competition's rules will be closed soon, and rules changes will be made clear on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Scoring and talk pages. The judges are committed to not repeating the confusion that occurred last year and to ensuring that the new rules are both fair and in the best interests of the competition, which is, first and foremost, about improving Wikipedia.

If you have any questions or concerns, the judges can be reached on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup, on their talk pages, or by email. We hope you will all join us in trying to make the 2015 WikiCup the most productive and enjoyable yet. You are receiving this message because you are listed on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Newsletter/Send. Level Mountain

Hi. I was wondering if you would be interested in reviewing Level Mountain for GA status since you did review Itcha Range earlier this year. Volcanoguy 10:53, 27 December 2015 (UTC)

Will be happy to. I'll be out tonight but I'll definitely have it to you in the morning. JAGUAR  15:26, 27 December 2015 (UTC)
