Missing cite in A3071 road

The article cites "Thompson 2013" but no such source is listed in bibliography. Can you please add? Also, suggest installing a script to highlight such errors in the future. All you need to do is copy and paste importScript('User:Svick/HarvErrors.js'); // Backlink: [[User:Svick/HarvErrors.js]] to your common.js page. Thanks, Renata (talk) 19:55, 21 November 2020 (UTC)

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 01:44, 24 November 2020 (UTC)

Andricus inflator: leaf brachium

Hi. This is about Andricus inflator, an article that you wrote. It includes the line The asexual gall is a small, green, egg-shaped swelling in the leaf brachium [disambiguation needed]. As you see, brachium links to a disambiguation page, and none of the options there have anything to do with leaves. In fact, when I search for "leaf brachium" online, all that comes up is this article. That leads me to ask, what did you mean here? Is there such a thing as leaf brachium? Lennart97 (talk) 20:41, 25 December 2020 (UTC)

It is from the reference by Zúbrik et al and unfortunately brachium is not mentioned in the glossary. Will have to rewrite that section. Jowaninpensans (talk) 12:20, 26 December 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for your reply! I'll unlink it for now, just so that no one else will waste their time trying to fix it in the meantime. Lennart97 (talk) 12:26, 26 December 2020 (UTC)

Nelly shipwreck question

Hello. I found a newspaper article (Indiananoplis Journal, December 13, 1883, p. 2) about the Nelly shipwreck. It states it was found by the whaling schooner Hannah Rice, one of Otto Lindholm's vessels at Mamga in Tugur Bay. I wasn't familiar with a sealing schooner named the Tungus. The only stuff I could find for a schooner with thatname were from the 1850s and involved Russian America I believe. Also, I don't know of any vessels that caught seals in that part of the Sea of Okhotsk (they usually went to Iony Island or Tyuleniy Island). Have you found any other contemporary (i.e. 1878) references to the wreck? ST1849 (talk) 19:01, 21 May 2021 (UTC)

  • Afraid not. I am slowly going though early editions of my local newspaper The Cornishman, adding any shipwrecks reported, as well as wrecks around the Cornish coast from other sources. Jowaninpensans (talk) 11:56, 22 May 2021 (UTC)
