Israel and the apartheid analogy[edit]

You may not be aware that this controversial article is subject to particular editing restrictions: editors of the article are restricted to 1 revert per 24 hours, and violations of the restriction may lead to blocks, as laid out in Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Palestine-Israel articles#Further remedies. I suggest that rather than getting blocked from editing, you take time to read the Wikipedia:No original research policy - the material you have added appears to constitute synthesis, in that the sources cited do not directly discuss the subject matter of the article, and hence is not acceptable. Welcome to Wikipedia. Read WP:BOLD, revert, discuss cycle for a guide to how Wikipedia works. In brief, if you see a change that you think would improve the encyclopedia, be BOLD and make it; but if it is then reverted, do not just repeat it, which could start an edit war, but discuss it on the article talk page, to try to reach WP:Consensus with other users. If you cannot reach conensus, there are WP:Dispute resolution processes available.
In this case, you boldly made a change, good; it has been reverted, and now the next stage is "discuss". The editor who reverted you invited that in his edit summary: "Please take this to the talk page. It looks like promotion of a person, and the number of links is excessive. You need a source to make these claims, not a list of examples."
Also, you will be aware that this is a highly contentious area, and that one of Wikipedia's fundamental principles is WP:Neutral point of view. Please read carefully the warnings on Talk:Racism in Israel. JohnCD (talk) 13:46, 7 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
