Search engine results[edit]

The article Michael Hoffecker has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

Autobiography is strongly discouraged[edit]
You should wait for others to write an article about subjects in which you are personally involved, instead of writing it yourself. This applies to articles about you, your achievements, your band, your business, your publications, your website, your relatives, and any other possible conflict of interest.
Creating an article about yourself is strongly discouraged. If you create such an article, it might be listed on articles for deletion. Deletion is not certain, but many feel strongly that you should not start articles about yourself. This is because independent creation encourages independent validation of both significance and verifiability. All edits to articles must conform to Wikipedia:No original research, Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, and Wikipedia:Verifiability.
If you are not "notable" under Wikipedia guidelines, creating an article about yourself may violate the policy that Wikipedia is not a personal webspace provider and would thus qualify for speedy deletion. If your achievements, etc., are verifiable and genuinely notable, and thus suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later. - Wikipedia is a collaborative project to build an encyclopedia, not a place for people to post their profiles or job descriptions - for that, you want a site like LinkedIn or Facebook. Article subjects have to be notable, a Wikipedia term which is not a matter of opinion but needs to be demonstrated by showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." Significant means more than just listing-type mentions; reliable excludes Myspace, Facebook, blogs, places where anyone can post anything; independent excludes the subject's own website, affiliated ones and press releases. More details in WP:Notability (people). From the description you give, it does not seem to me that you are notable: that is in no way discreditable - I am not notable, nor are most of the people in the world. We are simply not of enough general interest to warrant an article in an encyclopedia.
- Even if you were notable, for reasons explained above and in the article WP:Autobiography, you would be very strongly discouraged from writing an article about yourself, because you would have a conflict of interest.
- As a Wikipedia contributor you have a user page at User:Neojerzey which can be used to give some information about yourself, but even there, to quote from Wikipedia:User pages: "you should avoid substantial content on your user page that is unrelated to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a general hosting service, so your user page is not a personal website. Your user page is about you as a Wikipedian, and pages in your user space should be used as part of your efforts to contribute to the project."
