Thank you. I hadn't ever thought about "Did You Know", will certainly let you know when there's s new entry (I have several new subjects in mind). One possible might be Spike Hughes, a fascinating character who wrote the first opera specifically made for television as early as 1938 (not Amahl and the Night Visitors which most people cite as the first). But as you point out, it could do with a longer intro and a box, which I will add and then let you know - the Reger one is good. (Reger's Romantic Suite, in the Schoenberg chamber ensemble arrangement, is a favourite of mine by the way). Thanks again. Sfjohna (talk)

Name of Wikipedia page for A. L. Bacharach[edit]

You are correct — there was no noteworthy A. L. Bacharach who wrote in German. The mistake I made was probably that I incorrectly wrote down the publication year of one the German translations of Bacharach's books on music & believed that the erroneous year (because too early) indicated that the German translation was an original work by another A. L. Bacharach — very bad editing on my part. If you want to change the name of the article back to "A. L. Bacharach", then that might be preferable — although I generally prefer full names to names with initials for the titles of Wikipedia pages. Suslindisambiguator (talk) June 1, 2023

Almost all of your recent edits to Finnegans Wake were marked as "minor" despite not meeting the narrow, technical Wikipedia definition of WP:MINOR. Please take a quick look! People filter their watchlists based on this criterion. You might be taken as trying to push something through underneath the radar of peer scrutiny—which, why not just avoid?

had forgotten I originally added a list of students. Those with blue links (excepting Andy Quin, where it's implied) have sources within their entries, and the Roger Marsh entry here has specific citations for Causton and Hugill. I don't always like to load up an entry with citations if the facts aren't in dispute. Welsh, eh? Ah, well, perhaps there is a slight ambiguity in the lead: "a Welsh harpist" - she was undeniably a Welsh player of the harp, but didn't necessarily play the Welsh harp. I don't think people are likely to be misled, but I just mention it. Certainly not worth raising on the article talk page.
