Project Almanac[1] (formerly Almanac, Welcome To Yesterday and also known as Cinema One) is an upcoming American sci-fi adventure film directed by Dean Israelite and written by Jason Harry Pagan and Andrew Deutschman. The film stars Jonny Weston, Sofia Black D'Elia, Amy Landecker, Michelle DeFraites, Ginny Gardner and Sam Lerner. The film is set for a January 30, 2015 release.[2]
Plot
The film will be presented in found footage, and the plot centers on the creation of a time machine. A group of friends discover plans to build a time machine and then build one themselves. They use the time machine initially to undo past mistakes, and eventually their goals turn towards their own gain and pleasure but soon realize that changing the past has dire consequences in the future.

On February 5, 2014 Paramount Pictures postponed the release date from February 28, 2014 to an unknown date, Paramount will now partner on the film with MTV Films to work together on marketing of the film. On March 24, 2014 THR's Borys Kit tweeted that the film is retitled to "Project Almanac",[3] and it will be released on January 30, 2015.[2]
