Rohitachwiki, if you didn't understand my topic ban notice, I wish you had asked, as I invited you to do. Being " banned from making any edits to pages related to Vishvakarma" means that you're not allowed to make any edits related to Vishvakarma. Do you understand? I see you have again edited Vishwakarma (caste), despite the ban. Not only that, you have again inserted a great big chunk of text that is a copyright violation. Copyright violations were one of the reasons I banned you. You have been blocked for a week for ignoring your ban and for yet again editing disruptively and violating copyright. I'm sorry, because I don't think you mean to harm Wikipedia, but you obviously don't understand the rules here nor the warnings you have repeatedly received, so I can't let you keep on editing articles. When you come back from the block, you're welcome to again edit Wikipedia, just not about Vishwakarma, because you're banned from doing that. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text <!-- Copy the text as it appears on your page, not as it appears in this edit area. I've just noticed you were edit warring to reinsert your copyright violation while I was writing up the block notice above. I've therefore changed my mind, and have blocked you indefinitely as not being here to build an encyclopedia. Control copyright icon Hello Rohitachwiki, and welcome to Wikipedia. While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues here.

 • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
 • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
 • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
 • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
 • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are PD or compatibly licensed) it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions, the help desk or the Teahouse before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
 • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 12:32, 13 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Viswabrahmins/vishwakarma requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://srivishwakarmans.com/history.aspx. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. A tag has been placed on Jangid brahmin, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

ShivAcharya listed at Redirects for discussion

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect ShivAcharya. Since you had some involvement with the ShivAcharya redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. Sitush (talk) 14:36, 18 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sanctions

Please stop your pushing of an agenda regarding the Vishvakarma community. Many have tried before and, like you, they have consistently failed to provide reliable sources for their claims. The information below is relevant. - Sitush (talk) 14:41, 18 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This message contains important information about an administrative situation on Wikipedia. It does not imply any misconduct regarding your own contributions to date.

Please carefully read this information:

The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.

Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you that sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

And you have just done it again today. Please take it to the talk page - the issue has been discussed previously and the phrasing has consensus. - Sitush (talk) 15:47, 19 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a message letting you know that one or more of your recent edits to Vishwakarma (caste) has been undone by an automated computer program called ClueBot NG.

 • And you have just done it again at Vishwakarma (caste), despite the notification of the sanctions regime above and the bot revert. Much of your massive edit seems to have come from this, which is also not acceptable. Pinging SpacemanSpiff because although it is a while since you last tried this on, there is some evidence at the article and its talk page that suggests you may also have been editing while logged out. - Sitush (talk) 07:59, 13 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Note that the following sanction now applies to you

For persistent disruptive editing and copyright infringement despite warnings, I have decided, in my capacity as an uninvolved administrator under the terms of this community discussion, to impose the following sanction on you:

you have been indefinitely banned from making any edits to pages related to Vishvakarma

This sanction has been logged at Wikipedia:General sanctions/South Asian social groups. If the sanction includes a ban, please read the banning policy to ensure you understand what this means. If you do not comply with this sanction, you may be blocked for an extended period, by way of enforcement of this sanction—and you may also be made subject to further sanctions.

You may appeal this sanction to the community at the administrators' noticeboard. You may also appeal directly to me on my talk page, before or instead of appealing to the noticeboard. Even if you appeal this sanction, you remain bound by it until you are notified by an uninvolved administrator that the appeal has been successful. You are also free to contact me on my talk page if anything of the above is unclear to you. Bishonen | talk 08:13, 14 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
