About me

I was born to in Erie, Pennsylvania on April 26, 1981. After spending four years in foster care, I was adopted in 1990 and moved to East Hempfield Township, Pennsylvania. I attended both Catholic and public schools. After my last year in high school, 1999, I joined the United States Army and completed Basic Training at Fort Benning, Georgia in February 2000.

During my time in the Army, I have been deployed to Gnjilane, Kosovo and Baghdad, Iraq. I served in Baghdad from November 2008 to September 2009. I was formerly an infantryman (MOS 11B); I am currently an Electronic Warfare Specialist (MOS 29E), which was the duty I performed as a member of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

I am enrolled with American Military University, of which I will complete my short-term goal of earning a Bachelor of Arts in Religion with a minor in Philosophy. Additionally, I hold an Associate's degree in General Studies with Barton County Community College. My long-term goal is to earn a Master of Divinity in order to enter a yet-to-determined ministry. I have been married for over seven years and have a three year-old son. My wife and my son are integral to my existence, as is the Lord Jesus Christ.

I am a loyal fan of all Philadelphia sports teams, and exhilarated that the Curse of Billy Penn is lifted with the Phillies' 2008 World Series championship. I am also a dedicated fan of my hometown teams: the Lancaster Barnstormers and the Hershey Bears.
