It starts on Wednesday. It's on Channel 5 this year, not the BBC Red Button. The draw has been made for weeks. Why hasn't the wiki page been created? [[User:MisterRerack|MisterRerack]] ([[User talk:MisterRerack|talk]]) 07:14, 6 May 2024 (UTC) |

World ranking points section?
Why don't we have a "World ranking points" section, like previous seasons?

Triple Crown Events Highlighted / in bold
Hi, first time leaving a comment, so I do hope I'm doing this correctly and in the right place! I love the Wikipedia Snooker calendar page, I was just thinking that the one thing it's missing is marking out the three Major tournaments (aka 'Triple Crowns'). Similar to the Golf and Tennis calendar pages, the major events could be marked out in bold? Which would be simple to do, and could be easily signified in the key box below. I'd be happy to help if doing it to all the previous years would seem daunting. Alexgriffin81 (talk) 11:08, 18 December 2023 (UTC)
- Doesn't seem to be covered by MOS:NOBOLD but not by MOS:BOLD either: "but is considered appropriate only for certain usages.". As always with these sort of things there's a danger of just adding gimmicky extras. The table already fails MOS:COLOR: "Ensure that color is not the only method used to communicate important information. Especially, do not use colored text or background unless its status is also indicated using another method". Remember to consider WP:ACCESSIBILITY issues: What about readers on other types of devices, with different levels of eyesight? Personally I wouldn't be against it in this case. - I'd also add that tennis is a particularly bad example to follow. So many of their articles fail many aspects of Wikipedia policies and guidelines. Nigej (talk) 11:59, 18 December 2023 (UTC)
- Would it be more pertinent to use a reduced triple crown logo (located at [7]https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Triple_Crown_Series_Logo.jpg) without the wording underneath? Steveflan (talk) 13:52, 19 December 2023 (UTC)
