The Ice Tower was a supertall skyscraper project in Panama City in Panama. The planned tower height was 381 meters (1,250 feet) and 104 floors, increased from the original proposal of 80 floors due to the Palacio de la Bahía that was due to be erected in the same city which was also canceled.[2][3]
In March 2007, excavations began for the construction of the foundation of the building. However, three months later, in June 2007 project was canceled.[4] This is the third supertall skyscraper over 300 m (984 feet) canceled in Panama City after the Torre Generali in 2001 and the Palacio de la Bahía.[5]
