The 2008 Michigan Wolverines football team represents the University of Michigan in the college football season of 2008-2009. The team's head football coach is Rich Rodriguez. The Wolverines play their home games at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This is Rodriguez's first season as Michigan head coach, who replaced long time head coach Lloyd Carr upon his retirement. Rodriguez will be implementing the spread offense.
