Revision as of 23:53, 6 October 2005
This is a list of audio plays based on the long-running British science fiction television series Doctor Who produced by Big Finish Productions. The first five audio plays were released in both audio tape and CD format, and subsequent releases have been on CD only.
The plays feature both former actors who portrayed the Doctor and his companions, and new continuing characters as well as elements from other spin-off media. The canonicity of the audio dramas, like other Doctor Who spin-off media, is unclear.
From 6 August 2005, four of these audio plays featuring Paul McGann as the Eighth Doctor are being broadcast on the digital radio station BBC 7 — these are Storm Warning, Sword of Orion, The Stones of Venice and Invaders from Mars.
