List of Disney California Adventure attractions

Disney California Adventure is a Disney theme park in Anaheim, California, adjacent to Disneyland and part of the larger Disneyland Resort. It opened on February 8, 2001. Here is a list of the current attractions found therein, arranged by "land" and with brief descriptions. Please note that these are only attractions from the Disney California Adventure park itself, not from Disneyland park or other parts of the Disneyland Resort, and that parades and character meets are not listed in this article. (The term "attractions" is used by Disney as a catch-all term for rides, shows, and exhibits.) Disney California Adventure currently has 34 attractions in the theme park.

Disney California Adventure began a major, $1 billion+ renovation in 2008 that will end in 2012. Virtually every aspect of the park will have some type of work done to it.

"a bug's land"

• Flik's Flyers - (opened October 7, 2002) : A spinning hot-air balloon ride.
• Francis' Ladybug Boogie - (opened October 7, 2002) : A figure-8 ladybug spinning ride.
• Heimlich's Chew Chew Train - (opened October 7, 2002) : A ride in a Heimlich-like train past many fruits and vegetables.
• It's Tough to be a Bug! - (opened February 8, 2001) : A 3-D film about difficulty of being a bug.
• Princess Dot Puddle Park - (opened October 7, 2002) : A kids water play area.
• Tuck and Roll's Drive'Em Buggies - (opened October 7, 2002) : A slow bumper cars ride.

Golden State

Golden Dreams entrance (This attraction closed in September 2008)

Golden Vine Winery used to feature the "Season of the Vine" film. It still features a small working vineyard, shown in its winter trim.

• The Bakery Tour (opened February 8, 2001) : A bakery focused on the making of Sourdough bread.
• Grizzly River Run (opened February 8, 2001) : A white water-rafting ride.
• Mission Tortilla Factory (opened February 8, 2001) : A factory focused on the tortilla making process.
• Redwood Creek Challenge Trail (opened February 8, 2001) :An outdoor recreational play area. Features The Magic of Brother Bear show.
• Soarin' Over California (opened February 8, 2001) : A hang glider simulator ride above California.
• Walt Disney Imagineering Blue Sky Cellar (opened October 20, 2008) : An area focused on the imagineering of future attractions.

Disney Animation entrance

• Animation Academy - (opened February 8, 2001) : A part of the Disney animation building where a Disney artist explains how to draw a Disney character.
• Character Closeup - (opened February 8, 2001) : An exhibition of art from classic Disney animated movies in the Disney Animation building. Features the inventive Toy Story Zoetrope.
• Disney Animation (opened February 8, 2001): A series of exhibits that explain the Animation process.
• Disney's Aladdin: A Musical Spectacular (opened January 16, 2003) : A Broadway-style show on the story of Aladdin.
• Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue! (opened January 23, 2006) : A dark ride through Monstropolis.
• Muppet Vision 3D - (opened February 8, 2001) : A 3-D show featuring the Muppets.
• Sorcerer's Workshop - (opened February 8, 2001) : An interactive exhibit hall in the Disney Animation building. Explains all the steps of the Animation process.
• Turtle Talk with Crush - (opened July 15, 2005) : An interactive theater featuring Crush the sea turtle from Finding Nemo.
• The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror (opened May 5, 2004) : An elevator ride in an old 1930's hotel.
