Greetings! My name is Sionk and I've been active on Wikipedia since 2007. I have two university degrees and a wide range of interests, so hopefully my contributions will be useful. Of course, I welcome any constructive comments, criticism or advice (see my 'Talk' page).
Though Wikipedia is a fabulous not-for-profit resource with many positive aspects, there are some things I hate. As an amateur genealogist I particularly despise editors who use government records (such as the UK Births and Marriages registers) to uncover private personal information about living people. It's endemic in some WP Projects, argh!
But be reassured, I try to add considerably more information (properly sourced, of course) than I delete, haha.
