Serbia is scheduled to compete at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, United Kingdom.

The flag on the opening ceremony will be carried by Novak Đoković, the # 2 men's tennis player and the bronze medal winner at the 2008 Olympics.^[1]

115 Serbian athletes have secured a spot at the 2012 Summer Olympics in 15 sports.

Debuts and records

Shooter Jasna Šekarić is the first Serbian athlete to participate at her seventh Olympics (1988, 1992, 1996, 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012).
High jumper Dragutin Topić is one of the two male competitors in athletics that are going to compete in their sixth Olympics (1992, 1996, 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012), the other one being João N'Tyamba from Angola.
Milica Mandić, Dragana Gladović, Damir Fejzić are the first Serbian taekwondoists at the Olympics and this is the debut for Serbia in this sport.
The youngest Serbian athlete at the Games will be Dušan Mandić, a water polo player, born 1994, and the oldest one will be shooter Jasna Šekarić, born 1965.
4x100 freestyle relay in swimming is the first ever relay for Serbia in the swimming competitions.
Average age of whole olympic team is 26.57 years.
There is few families in this Olympics for Serbia. Biljana and Dragutin Topić are husband and wife and they are going to compete in athletics, sisters Nikolina and Olivera Moldovan in canoeing, twins Predrag and Nenad Filipović in race walking, brother and sister Saša and Sanja Starović in volleyball and brothers Uroš and Nikola Kovačević in volleyball . There is also married couple Damir and Melissa Mikec in shooting, but Damir is competing for Serbia and Mellisa for El Salvador.
