Revision as of 10:40, 9 November 2012

The 2012–13 Fußball-Regionalliga will be the fifth season of the Fußball-Regionalliga as the fourth tier of the German football league system. Beginning this season, the structure of this tier has been changed; the three former divisions, having been conducted by the German FA, will be replaced by five independent leagues, each being operated by its respective regional FA.[1] Additionally, the leagues will be structured on geographical affiliation, in contrast to the partially arbitrary divisional alignment.

Regionalliga Nord

The first season of the reformed Regionalliga Nord will feature 18 teams from the states of Bremen, Hamburg, Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein.
