According to a recent article in Forbes (http://www.forbes.com/sites/jesselawrence/2014/05/09/lana-del-rey-tickets-on-secondary-market-have-prices-among-pop-musics-elite/), it has stated that Gaga is indeed playing Dubai, Tel Aviv & Istanbul. I don't understand why Gaga must be the only one to confirm this while multiple other sources have already confirmed. Why is Gaga the only reliable source in this case? And also, the article could also be used in the Commercial Reception section if anyone wants to add that. --- [[User:Kworbi|Kworbi]] |

'''Concert synopsis''' |
|||
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ |
|||
Act 1 |
|||
The show starts with dancers with giant balloons, gazing balls and futuristic costumes perform on the stage as a colorful video on the screen is projected with the caption 'Are You Ready?' with Rave music been played. Near the end, just before Gaga rises from the stage, a pre-recorded message says "And now, Lady Gaga". The rave music is faded with an 'ARTPOP' instumental intro played by the band, as Gaga raises in the stage. Bubbles are projected in the screen and the castle. The show begins with the title track, "ARTPOP". Gaga emerges from the stage wearing a leotard with the Jeff Koons ball on it and wearing angel wings. After an instrumental intro, she performs "ARTPOP" on the main stage and on the runways, playing the piano at the second chorus. At the start of the third verse, she removes her angel wings. After "ARTPOP", Gaga sings "G.U.Y." on the stage and the runways. Gaga transitions directly into singing "Donatella" after "G.U.Y." ends. Gaga walks down the runway while wearing a clear-cloak attachment on her dress to the piano to perform a shortened version of her song "Fashion!" while some of her dancers walk down the runways sporting black-and-white lined clothes. Gaga walks down to the end of the runway and goes back to a part near the piano and goes down the stage for a costume change. |
|||
Act 2 |
|||
During Gaga's outfit change, the band and dancers perform. Gaga is raised from the part of the runway that she disappeared into for her outfit change after ""Fashion!". Gaga now sports her seashell bra and garden panty. Large inflatable flowers emerge from the catwalk during the beginning of "Venus". Gaga performs on the runway. At one point of the song, Gaga plays a guitar.Gaga begins performing "MANiCURE" on the runway after talking for a few seconds after Venus. During the song, Gaga and the dancers use microphone stands as props and Gaga makes her way back to main stage and sits in a seashell beauty salon chair to be wheeled around for a few seconds. Gaga finishes out the performance on the runway. At the last part of the song, a video is shown with Gaga swinging on a rope sucking a pacifier while we hear a low-pitch voice saying "Cake Like Lady Gaga" multiple times."MANiCURE" transitions into "Cake Like Lady Gaga". Gaga performs a shorter version of the song, only singing the first verse and the chorus. Gaga dissapears in the castle for an outfit change as the band plays an outro for the song. |
|||
Act 3 |
|||
The song starts with an extended intro right after a pre-recorded voice says "And now we Just Dance." Gaga emerges back onto stage in a new outfit and wig as a video plays of her in white twirling on the screen. She then performs a shortened version of "Just Dance" with her dancers who are dressed as "sea people". In this version she plays the first verse and chorus, the second verse and chorus, the fourth verse, and ends with the line "Just Dance" instead of performing a full final chorus. During the fourth verse, Gaga plays a seahorse keytar. Gaga begins to perform "Poker Face" immediately after "Just Dance". She starts performing on the main stage and then walks her way along the runway to finish the performance. Dancers remove the bottom part of her dress revealing a leotard at some point during this performance. The song is shortened playing only the first verse and chorus and the third verse and chorus. Gaga begins performing "Telephone" on the runway after "Poker Face" ends. Gaga performs a shortened and remixed version of Telephone and ends the performance by entering a structure on the main stage for an outfit change. The remix starts by repeating the "I'm kinda busy" line before Gaga performs one chorus and then ends with a remixed reprise. |
|||
Act 4 |
|||
Gaga emerges from the main structure on the main stage in a new tentacled outfit to perform "Partynauseous" with her dancers. Gaga performs the first verse and chorus of this song and then it ends rather abruptly for some brief ambient music. Gaga begins singing "Paparazzi" after the ambient music ends. She starts the performance on the main stage and makes her way along the runway as the song progresses. Gaga makes her way to the C-Stage toward the end of the song as the dancers place the "Monster Paw Chair" on the stage there and other dancers remove the tentacles from Gaga's dress, revealing a leotard. Gaga then lies across the Monster Paw chair and finishes out the song. Gaga begins singing a shortened version of "Do What U Want" on the Monster Paw chair right after she finishes "Paparazzi". Towards the end of the song, Gaga lies down on the runway and sings. Gaga proceeds to the piano on the runway after performing "Do What U Want" to perform an acoustic version of "Born This Way". Ocassionally, just like the piano segment from her third tour [[The Born This Way Ball Tour|"The Born This Way Ball Tour"]], she brings up a fan onstage from the ARTPOP Zone. |
|||
Act 5 |
|||
"Jewels N' Drugs" plays as Gaga changes outfits and wigs. A video interlude is also shown on the screen in the back showing Gaga dancing. Gaga rises from the stage near the piano and sings one chorus of the song then the song ends. After finishing "Jewels N' Drugs", Gaga begins walking along the runway as "Aura" begins. Gaga and the dancers then perform the song on the main stage. A red couch is brought out onto the main stage for the performance of "Sexxx Dreams". Gaga performs the song on red couch at first and then performs the remainder of the song on the main stage with the dancers. White chairs are brought out onto the stage by the dancers for a performance of "Mary Jane Holland". Gaga and her dancers perform "Mary Jane Holland" on the main stage while doing chair choreography. Immediately after "Mary Jane Holland" ends, Gaga performs "Alejandro" on the runway. The song is shortened removing the second verse and chorus. |
|||
Act 6 |
|||
"Ratchet" plays as an intro as Gaga gets naked while being seen by her fans being changed into her next outfit and wig onstage. Right before the song starts there is a pre-recorded intro that says: "And now, performing her hit single, Bad Romance." Immediately afterwards, Gaga begins singing "Bad Romance" on the main stage. The song is performed with the original choreography. Gaga immediately begins performing "Applause" after "Bad Romance". She performs "Applause" on the runway. A video of Gaga is shown on the giant screen while Gaga performs. Gaga begins performing "Swine" right after talking to the audience. Dancers fire stuffed animals into the crowd using cannons during the performance. The song is shortened playing only the first verse and chorus and an extended version of the third verse. Gaga takes off the skirt of her dress either before Applause or Swine. Gaga comes back out onto stage to perform "Gypsy" for the encore. Sometimes Gaga brings up a fan to perform the song with her. During the song the backdrop shows Gaga performing the song live on the piano. Gaga performs most of the song at the piano then makes her way along the runway to finish the performance on the main stage and closes the show. |

Start?
Even though details about the tour have not yet been released, I actually think there is quite a bit of information about the original artRave that could be detailed in this article space. This could eventually be the "background" or "orginal artRave" section in the tour article. --Another Believer (Talk) 17:29, 30 November 2013 (UTC)

- Actually, I am currently drafting a separate article for the original ArtRave. This event, which included a live concert, app demonstrations and a press conference, received a lot of press. --Another Believer (Talk) 17:40, 3 December 2013 (UTC)

European leg
The dates constantly being added are not confirmed. She has only just announced the opening leg today, with more North American dates most likely being announced first. Until Gaga or a repeatable publication confirms this, stop adding these dates. --Lolcakes25 (talk) 18:27, 3 December 2013 (UTC)
Sellouts are untrue
Simply going to Ticketmaster, one can clearly see that ALL shows are still open. The reports of sellouts were either misinformed or just lies. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.60.200.48 (talk) 01:40, 18 December 2013 (UTC)
- It has been reported by third party reliable sources, and I just checked those shows for which sellouts are reported, and ticketmaster does show them to be sold out. Need screenshot? —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 07:34, 18 December 2013 (UTC)
I'll provide you a screenshot of the tickets it just offered me in each location. There are NO sold out dates for this tour. You're either lying or don't know how to use ticketmaster. [[]] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.60.200.48 (talk) 19:36, 22 December 2013 (UTC)
Sell outs in UK
According with Daily Mail: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2552167/Lady-Gaga-gig-tickets-touted-700-EACH-official-ones-sell-minutes-leaving-thousands-disappointed.html Biagio2103 (talk) 18:22, 6 February 2014 (UTC)
- I'm kinda against using Daily Mail as a source you know, I'm aware of what they reported, just trying to find any other non-tabloid publication has reported it or not. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 05:46, 7 February 2014 (UTC)

Artrave: The Artpop Ball → ArtRave: The Artpop Ball – CamelCase titles are not sylizations; artRAVE is an stylization. So being technical the title should be "ArtRave...", like with ArtRave. © Tbhotch™ (en-2.5). 02:20, 24 February 2014 (UTC)

Lady Gaga will NOT visit Mexico
Wikipedia, please remote the dates for Mexico. Live Nation Global Touring has released a statement saying that Lady Gaga will not visit Mexico this summer. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.136.162.155 (talk) 05:10, 28 February 2014 (UTC)

Roseland shows
Why are those shows in the tour dates? Those are not part of this tour, those are part of a residency show called "Lady Gaga Live at Roseland Ballroom", shouldn't be here.--186.105.173.75 (talk) 03:07, 30 March 2014 (UTC)
- I have fixed that now. XXSNUGGUMSXX (talk) 03:12, 30 March 2014 (UTC)
Israel concert
@Kworbi:, even if other sources announce a date, it is best to wait for verification from Gaga herself. @IndianBio: has indicated that there is no evidence of the date on TicketMaster or Gaga's website, so we should go with things like that. For all we know, the Israel date may have been cancelled. Until we have more official evidence, it is best not to include the date. XXSNUGGUMSXX (talk) 19:13, 30 March 2014 (UTC)
- Okay, but when you revert the edit, do you mind not undoing the whole edit? There is information besides the Israel date that is correct, but is being reverted. When removing the date, please don't erase all of the other information. Kworbi (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 19:41, 30 March 2014 (UTC)
- This should be reverted if GagaARTPOP and Kworbi cannot give valid reasons for violating WP:CRYSTAL. I have reverted twice and won't do further but won't stop others from reverting the user. He/She is already on 3RR. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 19:43, 30 March 2014 (UTC)
- WP:CRYSTAL definitely can't be ignored, and unless I'm mistaken adding the date without Gaga's verification would also go against WP:SNYTH? XXSNUGGUMSXX (talk) 19:59, 30 March 2014 (UTC)

Why you are removing the Israeli date in Lady Gaga's artRAVE: The ARTPOP Ball? According to the sources there is a link that says "Lady Gaga to play Tel Aviv in September", The date is not on Gaga's official site and on TicketMaster because the tickets are not on sale yet!. I'm not going to add the date anynore but this date is official and it should be on the tour dates. — Preceding unsigned comment added by GagaARTPOP (talk • contribs) 17:36, 2 April 2014 (UTC)
- Because doing so would go against WP:SYNTH. XXSNUGGUMSXX (talk) 18:44, 2 April 2014 (UTC)
- GagaARTPOP (talk · contribs) had again inserted the date into the article although Gaga's official your website still does not confirm it. @C.Fred:, what is your take on this since I saw you left a warning at the user's talk page and I frankly think that explaining the concept of WP:OR and WP:CRYSTAL is not working. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 15:10, 12 April 2014 (UTC)
- The date does not have to appear on Gaga's website before it can be inserted in the article; the date has to appear in any reliable source. So the issue becomes, is the Turkish source used for the Istanbul date reliable? Is it a newspaper with a generally good reputation, or is it just a gossip site? —C.Fred (talk) 23:58, 12 April 2014 (UTC)
- For what it's worth, C.Fred, I would be all for adding it if any reliable source included that along with other tour dates. From what I could see, adding this date with a source only talking about one date seemed like WP:SYNTH when there were other sources talking about other dates excluding that singular performance. Correct both myself and IndianBio if we were wrong to call it such, though. XXSNUGGUMSXX (talk) 00:09, 13 April 2014 (UTC)
- It's easiest to cite a comprehensive list, but that doesn't mean we can't choose sources selectively. That said, the pitfall is publication date: suppose an article appeared on February 1 saying there'd be a concert at the XYZ Arena on September 30. Then, on March 1, the concert list was published but didn't mention the September 30 date. Was it an oversight in the list, or was it dropped from the tour dates? The omission from the list would suggest leaving it out. Conversely, if the tour list were dated February 1, and the new date were announced March 1, then we should add it to the list, because the single announcement is newer. This may create the problem of getting publication dates for the sources. —C.Fred (talk) 00:13, 13 April 2014 (UTC)
- Makes sense to me. XXSNUGGUMSXX (talk) 00:17, 13 April 2014 (UTC)
- The thing is that, whenever the other dates were announced, they immediately reflected on Gaga's official website, even the recent six dates announced for US. However, though an Israeli publication announced that Tel Aviv date in February 2014, the date is still not added in the itinerary at Ladygaga.com, making me believe that it is not a confirmed tour date at all. Same goes for that Istanbul date also. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 04:25, 13 April 2014 (UTC)
- GagaARTPOP (talk · contribs) again added the Tel Aviv date without any confirmation and added another Dubai date, which is grossly WP:CRYSTAL at present. Thoughts? —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 05:23, 29 April 2014 (UTC)
- I didn't wanna have to say this, but it this might need to be reported at WP:ANI. XXSNUGGUMSXX (talk) 06:04, 29 April 2014 (UTC)

The concerts in Israel has been confirmed by the Israli producer Udi Appelboim, you can check his Facebook. And it also has been added to the tour dates by GagaSlays. And here is also an article from the Israeli news channel that confirm it http://bidur.nana10.co.il/Article/?ArticleID=1056393 — Preceding unsigned comment added by GagaARTPOP (talk • contribs) 21:55, 15 May 2014 (UTC)
- You can go on saying it as much as you want, but it won't be added unless Gaga's itinerary says so. @XXSNUGGUMSXX:, I think its time to bring this up to WP:ANI, enough disruptions from GagaARTPOP and there is a sock involved with the same name I believe. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 05:48, 16 May 2014 (UTC)
- Are you referring to GagaSlays (talk · contribs)? Wouldn't surprise me too much. As for WP:ANI, the previous report I filed on GagaARTPOP received little to no admin attention. Feel free to re-report, though. XXSNUGGUMSXX (talk) 05:53, 16 May 2014 (UTC)

2 columns for set list?
Thoughts of having two columns for the set list section? Seems like a lot of white space otherwise. I don't feel too strongly, but I think the presentation could look better with two columns. --Another Believer (Talk)
- Kworbi, what are your comments given your removal of the column divider? XXSNUGGUMSXX (talk) 18:47, 6 May 2014 (UTC)
- To me, it seems unessesary to divide the setlist into two columns. Many tour pages on Wikipedia that have a 20+ setlist, including Gaga's own Born This Way Ball, are formatted into one column. I also think that the setlist summery before the actual setlist is also unesessary. All the summery is doing is just repeating what the setlist is. In my opinion, I believe we should keep the one-column setlist an remove the repetitive summery before the setlist. --- Kworbi (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 22:45, 6 May 2014 (UTC)
- The summary gives bakground info on the songs chosen as well as any new songs which were never used in any of her concerts, this time its "Partynauseous", "Cake Like Lady Gaga" and "Ratchet". It will stay. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 05:36, 7 May 2014 (UTC)
- I don't see why we can't use two columns. But then again, it looks fine the way it is now. I doesn't matter. — TheMadonnaMusicCN (talk, contribs) 9:32, 8 May 2014 (UTC)

Concert synopsis
Can some one write up a detailed concert synopsis? —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 06:53, 7 May 2014 (UTC)
- We should probably find someone who's been to the show. Otherwise, may as well use what we can gather from reviews. XXSNUGGUMSXX (talk) 06:55, 7 May 2014 (UTC)
- I was going to do that, but got stuck at the beginning itself. The reviews don't give a step by step analysis of the show, just bits and pieces. Oh well, lets hope someone from Wikipedia goes to it. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 06:57, 7 May 2014 (UTC)

Development
In this section, I'm not sure why costumes are being discussed in such detail. My suggestion would to instead incorporate her costume changes in concert summary (when that gets written). XXSNUGGUMSXX (talk) 08:21, 7 May 2014 (UTC)
- One of Gaga's most important aspects of her career, her shows, her theatrics as well as her presentation is her costumes. Weird, excessive, gaudy, over-the-top, whichever way you put it, they are a defining part of her oeuvre. That's why they are present as part of the development. This is attested by the third party media talking about the costumes in detail, over 50 sources are there. I just listed two of them. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 08:31, 7 May 2014 (UTC)
Dubai & Tel Aviv dates
According to a recent article in Forbes (http://www.forbes.com/sites/jesselawrence/2014/05/09/lana-del-rey-tickets-on-secondary-market-have-prices-among-pop-musics-elite/), it has stated that Gaga is indeed playing Dubai, Tel Aviv & Istanbul. I don't understand why Gaga must be the only one to confirm this while multiple other sources have already confirmed. Why is Gaga the only reliable source in this case? And also, the article could also be used in the Commercial Reception section if anyone wants to add that. --- Kworbi

Concert synopsis __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Act 1
Act 2
Act 3
Act 4
Ocassionally, just like the piano segment from her third tour "The Born This Way Ball Tour", she brings up a fan onstage from the ARTPOP Zone.
Act 5 "Jewels N' Drugs" plays as Gaga changes outfits and wigs.
Act 6 "Ratchet" plays as an intro as Gaga gets naked while being seen by her fans being changed into her next outfit and wig onstage.
