Andrew Rothschild has invented the genre bluestronica. There is no published music that falls in this genre of bluestronica. Andrew Rothschild's music does not fit the blues, or electronica genre. Hence he has created a new genre. No artist has claimed their music to be apart of this genre. He has elements of both in his music. The sources are legitimate. This is not a scientific matter, he is an artist and his artwork has received notable attention.

I was researching this company for work and was surprised that they didn't have an article in wikipedia. I wanted to know who they were and what their basic business model was. I had to go to an external source to find this. I thought it would be useful to have this info in wikipedia. I don't work for them, I don't have a vested interest in their success or failure, I just found it annoying that this info wasn't available here, and wanted to fix that.

Thank you for your review of my draft. I have been through way too many drafts, re-writes, and deletions for this page. It has been shortened, condensed, and as many sources as are available have been cited. I have read all of the articles that have been linked. There are no other sources available on the internet, as it is a small company. There are no opinions reflected in the draft, only basic facts. I don't see how this can be changed any more. Hello SwisterTwister, I understand your point of view and the publishing rules on Wikipedia. Really, I do! The reason I decided to send the article in Wikipedia (even it doesn't respect the rules) is because Ezi Car Rental is become the first 100% Kiwi own rental company in New Zealand. New Zealand is a small country. References are not like in Europe (where I come from) or another big country in the World. With the current rules of publication only the big companies can be on Wikipedia. Is it really the most relevant point of view for an online encyclopedia? I could be wrong but I don't think so. It is not an argumentation for publishing the article about Ezi Car Rental. Your decision respect the rules. It is just my point of view about this. I have worked on finding more sources for my citations. The first three reference citations, are from National, credible print and digital magazines, the state run publication "Georgia Music Magazine", and a newspaper which is owned by the Atlanta Journal and Constitution, "Creative Loafing." The References directly explain how The Hot Place contains two notable international musicians in its lineup, Jeff Calder of “The Swimming Pool Q's” and Richard Lloyd of “Television.” Especially notable is source #2, Georgia Music Magazine. This is a state-run print and digital publication. Source 1 and 3 are not merely announcements, they are also detailed articles which explain The Hot Place's debut, and the notable musicians that are involved in the historic project. I also added another source that I found this morning, “Arts Talk” on Blog Talk Radio, Episode #104 Lisa King. I have also looked at other Atlanta bands Wikipedia pages. Some of these are groups which are far less notable than The Hot Place, with no notable musicians involved, and cite less reliable sources. So, I'm curious as to why those articles were approved, and this one is being rejected. Please advise! My sources all verify the notable musicians involved in The Hot Place.

I have resubmitted the article to incorporate all the changes suggested by yourself and other Wikipedia reviewers. I have made substantial changes throughout the document
to get rid of any extraneous or unnecessary language, with the effect of streamlining the article. The article now only contains direct and informative language with no self-promotional or journal-like language. I believe you will find the changes I have made to be much more in line with a Wikipedia article.

Thank you for your time. Rene Moreno meets the notability requirements when you look at it from the angle that he is a very significant person with Down syndrome. That's key here. His documentary is commonplace in collegiate special education curriculums across the country, and has been for 17 years. Up Syndrome has been on Netflix, Hulu amongst many other major streaming outlets for many years. His movies have been the subject of reviews in major trades such as Daily Variety (which is referenced), and he has won a very prestigious award from the National Down Syndrome Congress of the USA (also referenced), which is one of the largest organizations to promote the awareness of Down syndrome that exists in the world today. I think when you look at this person with the correct angle you will understand that he is indeed notable and worthy of inclusion.

Thank you for your feedback. This is my first article. I have only ever made minor contributions to other article over the last 10 years or so. Before I wrote this article I read the pages that talk about notability and also needing independent credible sources from news/media publishers who have editors etc.. I believe the page I have drafted has merit based on the guidelines. The development of renewable energy in Australia has been significantly influenced by not for profit and grass roots groups such as Local Power. Not sure if you had a chance to read/view many of the references and if you did perhaps you are not familiar with the Australian media organisations in the references?
The TV coverage of this community initiative was made by the ABC TV network and the TEN TV network. The Australian ABC is a highly credible news organisation of journalistic integrity spanning radio, TV and online. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_Broadcasting_Corporation The Australian TEN TV network is one of our 3 commercial news networks and comparable to perhaps NBC or CBS in the US. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Network_Ten Both of these TV broadcast news services thought this was a newsworthy community initiative which had not been done before. The youtube clips are recordings of the prime time TV news article which were broadcast to audiences of over 1 million people each.
Similarly the ATA is a very credible member based organisation and magazine publisher of ReNew magazine, which has been publishing since 1980 and is not up to it's 138th quarterly magazine https://www.ata.org.au/who/history They chose to write a feature article about the Local Power project because it was something new and novel.
Finally the City South News is a local community newspaper and part of the News Corporation stable of newspapers. While I am not a big fan or Rupert Murdoch (Fox News yuk!) he did get his starts running newspapers in Australia This chain of local papers are said to have 1 million readers weekly. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quest_Community_Newspapers

The sources I've listed are also referenced in many other game (related) wiki articles, and two of them are long form editorial articles. Are you saying they're not independent enough, not major enough, or both?

Hi, I am unsure what "major independent news" means in this case. As the article is about an academic award, it will mostly be covered by people who are interested in that specific field. There is some third party coverage, however:
- The Association for Automated Reasoning announced the call for nominations.
- Luca Aceto, a well-known scientist in the field, posted an interview with the two awardees after the presentation.
- The Newsletter of Stanford Engineering, mentions the awardees.
Would any of this or a combination suffice to justify the article?

You refused my page about Crowdyhouse a first time as you mentioned I did not add enough relevant sources to it. I added 3 paragraphs from what I found on internet, added references from Wired or even a External link from the Foreign and Commonwealth office of the United Kingdom which I think reveals something about the notability of the company. For this reason I don't understand your comment ("Still nothing had changed and it's still violating our policy WP:Wikipedia is not a business listing because this is simply what they would advertise to clients."). Could you please explain me in what way these references are not good enough? It is not about advertising but about trying to understand Wikipedia in order to be able to bring better contributions to the website.

Hello, the article was rejected as it did not meet the WP:PROF#Criteria but the subject of the article is not a professor or academic, she is an author and business woman and does meet the WP:BIO#Criteria. (as she has received significant coverage in multiple published secondary sources that are reliable, intellectually independent of each other, and independent of the subject).

To establish notability, I have added news coverage of Carbon Tracker's reports by major, independent news outlets - Bloomberg, Financial Times, The Guardian, Forbes, Reuters. That organisations of this caliber devote standalone articles to the individual reports of a think-tank is, I believe, sufficient proof of relevance. I have cut down on the organisation history, keeping the link to the chairman's name - who already has his own Wikipedia page.

I understand that you are looking for verification of notability and am confused as to why you do not find the references to the New York Time article, the numerous appearances on a a well-known variety showed broadcasted by CBN (Christian Broadcasting Network), and the newspaper article Kentucky New Era. I have read the guidelines for establishing notability and am not sure how we are not proving notability. Is a matter of how I present the information, or are you needing different proof?

Dear SwisterTwister, most respectfully I request your help with this article... I have helped many actors, musicians, authors and other notable people establish their first wikipedia articles.
I'm failing to understand why Michael Devin is not notable, or seems to be not notable. He's got a multitude of professional editorial from all kinds of music industry magazines, including Rolling Stones.
His proposal was even featured in People magazine. He's got millions of fans. His photo was taken by a woman in Italy who needed a press pass to get close to him to get his photo. If that's not notable, what is?!
Is there perhaps some kind of promotional material that needs to be omitted? To make it more "wiki-ish? I would be happy to do further editing... if you can suggest a comment please.

From what I can tell, the article if not very different from the following (in words / scope) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M/I_Homes or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PulteGroup.
Fischer is in the same group as those two homebuilders (and many others already included in Wikipedia) and being in the top 50 in the nation (something that M/I mentions in their article as well) I would think that content is noteworthy as well.
The remainder of the article just lists out the areas of business (where they do business) as well as a small amount of history (founder etc...) for the company (something I see the other Homebuilders do as well.)
If you could give me a little more feedback on what is different from my article and those above (as initial examples) I would appreciate it so I can make the needed changes.

Can you give me a little more specific advice on this rejection? Have I mis-formatted or not provided enough reference info? Do I need to send you attachments with the source references? Do we need more references? Stronger references? Art Hellyer was one of the top two highest rated radio personalities in the 1950s in the Chicago area, #1 on radio in Chicago three times during that period (some say 4 times but I'm still checking on a source for that). He achieved #1 ratings success again in the 1960s on WLS radio in Chicago. He won a national Disk Jockey of the Year award.
Or, does some of my text need re-writing for better clarity and emphasis?

I just looked up the Wikipedia article on Wally Phillips. Wally was brought to Chicago to copy Art's radio format. He shadowed Art during Art's shows then adopted Art's imaginative radio ideas to use on his own show which then competed with Art. 10 of the 11 references in Wally's Wikipedia article were published at his death. Art is still living, so he doesn't have these type of references yet -- I would hope that you could see that Art's notability is closely comparable Wally's, with Art's major impact being in 1950s radio and Wally's commercial success being mostly in the 1960s.

Dear SwisterTwister, I was looking forward to your advice. But instead I found my plea in an archive of inactive discussions. It sort of made me think over it and I try to remind you of the problem by copying the text from inactive to the "active" zone. If it would be of some use to you, I think, that supporting statements coud be obtained from recognised authors like Ondřej Neff, Josef Nesvadba, Vilma Kadlečková and Miroslav Žamboch. Jaroslav Velinský would support JWP too, but he died on 19/2/2012. Alas, the last recognised - Ludvík Souček - did not meet JWP and died in 1978. By the way - there is no info in Czech wikipedia on SwisterTwister, nothing was found in the Czech wiki_dictionary as well. Does it make you unreliable? I think that the problem is only in the language barrier and it should open a bit for a really oustanding author and his work. --14/1/2017--Dear SwisterTwister, I think I have a problem with the fact that the 3 cited works on Czech SF are published and recognized as reliable only here in Czech Republic. One of them was written by O. Neff, who is recognised in en-wikipedia. But this book is in Czech too. You see, JWP writes SF in Czech and most info on him is in Czech again. So people in the English SF world scarsely know of him. I wanted to get some short info in the English speaking version of Wikipedia to break this vicious circle. I created a stub and was gradually forced to expand it. Now I got to the dead end, if you have no advice for me in this. I reckon that the info on JWP will find his way through personal contacts in the end. Ok, that makes sense. So what updates do I need to make to it for it to meet the new company guidelines? I don't see any specifics on that which we have not already covered here? I'm specifically looking for "doing this would make it meet the new guidelines" kind of information.
I've re-read the following: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Notability_(organizations_and_companies) and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Companies/Guidelines and it appears from what I can see there that the article, in its current state covers the areas mentioned.
Again, as far as companies go, and looking at the other homebuilders (as well as other companies) in the space, Fischer is certainly in line with those which are included. (They have been in the top 50 home builders for many years now, they operate in multiple states nationwide, they have plenty of press on them, they are are one of the big builders for the St. Jude's dream home giveaway (which benefits less fortunate people), and the list goes on.
When you get time, let me know what I can do in the way of edits to help get this article revised and into the article space. I appreciate the info so far. It is helpful.

Hi, thanks for your input on my Laurence Shames article. He was only indirectly referenced on Wikipedia to the Lost Experience page. I've added multiple major book reviews showing the author is a major author and clearly notable. There are now four book reviews from the New York Times, one or two from the Los Angeles Times, Variety, Publishers Weekly, Kirkus Reviews and info from Random House's site. This is much more authority than almost any author article I've seen so I can't imagine the article now satisfies even the toughest critic. Thanks so much. There are 6 main sources cited, that are serious sources (in the Middle-East, and Lebanon). Text publications are rarely digitized, but I could recollect printed articles (Can/should we add them as references and provide scanned proof? What is the procedure for such cases).
The company had a social impact, which is why it is covered. As you might have now noticed, the digital ecosystem is nearly non-existent in this region, and having publicly accessible digital manufacturing service shop with industrial 3D printers in Lebanon is a big step. Not to mention the creation of new 3D printing materials! (2 materials) and several machines.
Additional projects may be appended: Rapidmanufactory has been invited to the St-Etienne Design Biennial this coming march to exhibit: https://www.instagram.com/explore/tags/theobsessivedrafter/ . This would generate articles by "more known" media entities. I felt the subject worthy of an article, largely because of her role as ambassador for the Orange Tree theatre in London. The theatre is a theatre that produces new work of exceptional standard, most recently reviewed in Variety magazine Los Angeles, and acknowledged to be a forerunner in new writing. Heery was one of fourteen invited because they were considered to be 'leading figures in the Arts and beyond – who will champion the work of the Theatre.' She is also a member of the Davison/Tennant family who have a large fan base in the worldwide science fiction community, not only because of her work with Big Finish audio, but also because of her film work in the series The Tripods, and Life Force. Her son, David Tennant's step brother in law, Louis Davison, has just played Victor in Tim Burton's Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children made by Fox films. I am hesitant to created a stub article, as i understand these do not get as many views.

I would appreciate some clarification, given that a) this article is about a person, not a business, and falls under the Notability (people) policy, and b) my COI has been openly stated, I have followed the COI guidelines, and a COI has no effect on the notability of a subject - the only mention of COI in the Notability (people) guideline refers to Wikipedians editing articles about themselves.
For further clarification - if I submit this article for third party editing and provide a substantial list of secondary sources, and step back entirely from the process, can the notability then be established, or is it a separate issue? Would you suggest that this is the best step forward?

could you please advice what kind of sources are significant enough to meet Wikipedia standards? Monocle or Archdaily or World Landcape Architect are all independent, prestigious media, and the articles we have linked in the drafts are their editorial content. ASLA who has recognized reSITE's work by 2016 Presidents Award, attributed the prize after a long nomination process and secret vote of the Committee of jurors. Some of the media links are in Czech language given the location of reSITE. But they are all independent.
It would really help to have your explanation why these sources are not relevant or what is wrong with those.

Russell Reynolds Submission

You state that there has been anything to satisfy Wikipedia policies; however, when comparing the citations and the content to a different wiki entry for a company in the same industry: [1] the citation quality and language/tone for the Russell Reynolds submission are very comparable. In fact the Russell Reynolds submission contains citations from many of the same sources listed in: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egon_Zehnder The citations from the Wall Street Journal are a good example.
Heidrick and Struggles, another very similar firm, is also an approved Wikipedia submission with citations and language very similar to the Russell Reynolds submission: [2] . Using Egon Zehnder and Heidrick and Struggles Wikipedia entries as examples to model the Russell Reynolds citation after, since they are approved which means they satisfy Wikipedia policies, seemed to me like a good idea. Is that not the case, and if so, it would seem as if the approval process is very subjective and not based on any clearly defined standards.
Here is your specific feedback:
There was enough time in 3 reviews to at least give us the needed substance in a convincing article, the article itself has unchanged itself with still only keeping either clear-copied company advertising or advertised business announcements, all is sufficient for deletion.
You mention that the submission was populated using marketing copy taken from elsewhere, if so, I would love to see the source material I used copied. Also mentioned was the timeline elapsed from the first entry until this most recent. I am not being paid to submit this information to Wikipedia - if that was the case, I most likely would have lost my job by now since indeed it has been quite some time. I did add additional text and 6 additional new citations from reputable sources.
I am not trying to be difficult and am more than happy to additional content to this submission if you provide me with additional direction. This exercise is simply meant to be a way to learn my way around Wikipedia. I appreciate your help and guidance.

OK, but you had mentioned trade publications. If an organization is not mentioned in publications like the New York Times or Wall Street Journal, etc., how can it create a Wikipedia entry? There are plenty of publications that mention this company, but many readers may not have heard of them. Also, are PDF's acceptable or do all sources need to be currently online?

Would you not deem a recording artist, signed by a subsidiary of a major record label not significant? I'm not sure how to ask, but you reviewed our page for the Hanna Boys Center last. I just found a reference to our non-profit in the United States COngressional Record at our 60th Anniversary in 2010. It's obviously old but maybe it can help as a non-local reference.

When first attempting to get my page added to Wikipedia, I did iterate on content a few times. I was finally told by one of the editors (Onel15969) that my content was "better" than my original (e.g., less PR-sounding) and just needed an additional citation or two before it would be considered for page creation. My apologies for misunderstanding this.
I would like to request another attempt to re-write my content with the additional citations I was able to secure. Is this a possibility or will future submissions be automatically disregarded altogether as a result of my misunderstanding?

This entry submission is to simply note the existence of the two companies and that Espress Group took over from the initial company. I'm also experiencing difficulty displaying the references as per instructions. Another user, MatthewVanitas kindly updated two of the links as they should be but even with following the instructions for ref links I can't seem to replicate what he's done with the remaining links. I also can't remove the two "article" based ones as listed above.
Any further help would be much appreciated as I'm a little stuck.

Please state coherent grounds for declining it, so that the problem can be fixed.
Also, you stated "examining the sources find they're only announcements and mentions". This did not reflect the facts at the time of the original submission, and even less so now. In the original submission, two reliable, independent sources were cited (namely Cleveland Encyclopedia and ASME), both showing that the subject of this article is both notable and worthy of inclusion. In the meantime, a second more detailed reference by ASME (which has a national audience) as well as a reference from Heartland Science (created by the Ohio Academy of Science) have been added. Both of these also discuss how the subject of this article is notable and worthy of inclusion.

Thanks for reviewing this submission! I'm not sure that I understand your feedback in the context of Wikipedia's guidelines for notability for creative individuals.
These guidelines read as follows:
"1.The person is regarded as an important figure or is widely cited by peers or successors. 2.The person is known for originating a significant new concept, theory, or technique. 3.The person has created or played a major role in co-creating a significant or well-known work or collective body of work. In addition, such work must have been the primary subject of an independent and notable work (for example, a book, film, or television series, but usually not a single episode of a television series) or of multiple independent periodical articles or reviews. 4.The person's work (or works) either (a) has become a significant monument, (b) has been a substantial part of a significant exhibition, (c) has won significant critical attention, or (d) is represented within the permanent collections of several notable galleries or museums."
My submission is based on the belief that EMN satisfies at least two of these criteria. In particular, in accordance with the first criteria, it is my belief that ENM's notability as an author is established by: her own writing (sourced); her responsibility for making the reputation of TPT; her reputation in the eyes of her peers as evidenced, for example, by her responsibility in assisting with the publication of Catcher in the Rye.
With respect to her reputation as an artist, the fourth criteria includes the standard that "the person...has won significant critical attention." ENM's award with respect to her painting is explicitly referenced in the submission. I don't see the requirement in the above that you reference, namely, that the subject of a submission in this category verify their notability with holdings in libraries. I believe that such a standard does not exist for very good reason.
While I am willing to concede that EMN's notability as a either an author or a painter might present a close case, I think it quite easy to make a case for her notability based on her accomplishments across disciplines.
Marginal cases like these, and the interpretation of the rules that you are applying in the case of this submission, are rather troubling to me. While I have no doubt that submissions are reviewed on their own merits, as you suggest, my concern is that these individual merits concerns, carried out in an uncoordinated manner, work to systematically undermine the notability of figures like ENM whose work exists in multiple registers. More concerning than that, however, is the way that these individual decisions work to undermine the notability of women. It pains me to see the concessions made both here and in response to my comments on TokyoGirl1979's page regarding derivative notability in the context of artistic communities, and the role played specifically by women in such communities. While the subject is no doubt complicated, it was my belief that in the context of Wikipedia, which has extensive discussion of artistic and literary salons, particular examples of such salon luminaries would be welcome, if only for the purposes of critique.
Having said this I urge you to reconsider your decision. This will be my final inter-Wikipedia exchange on this topic, and I thank you for your time, attention, and commitment.

Thank you for your response; it is taken to heart. My concern in drafting a stand-alone list is that I didn't want to clutter an encyclopedic article with a big chunk of data blocks. Because of your feedback, I have just now found relevant commentary in the Manual of Style for such lists, where "Every entry in the list fails the notability criteria" therefore such "are almost always better placed within the context of an article on their "parent" topic."
Work on the list(s) will continue, with intent to bring it into the main Washburn Guitars article when properly fleshed out. And, yes, references ARE being upgraded.

I kept everything very factual/neutral, with no bold sale’sy claims, and rigorously referenced the article to a range of third party external independent sources. See specific notes on these below.
In particular, one of the main reference sources used is the Lincolnshire Echo newspaper’s website (Lincolnshire Live) which is an Independent Press Standards Organisations Code of Conduct adhering newspaper which indeed has its own Wikipedia article.
Furthermore, the Mel West. “Software specialists OrderWise reflects on a year of growth and success”. Lincolnshire Live, 21st December 2016 reference and the “Sarah Harrison-Barker. “David Hallam: Finding order in chaos”. Lincolnshire Business, 19th February 2016” reference were major feature articles in the respective publications, written by professional journalists.
As such, there are multiple reliable, independent and verifiable sources used throughout.
Re: the awards – they were independently judged and I referenced them and included them as ‘factual occurrences’. Some of the awards were referenced to the Lincolnshire Echo newspaper’s website (Lincolnshire Live) which, as already stated is an Independent Press Standards Organisations Code of Conduct adhering newspaper which indeed has its own Wikipedia article.
Any help and specific suggestions as to what can be done to, or removed from, the article to make it more suitable for Wikipedia would be greatly appreciated. I’ve looked at similar company articles and they seem to have sections on ‘features/products’, ‘architecture’, accreditations, etc.
Similarly, all sorts of articles seem to mention award wins.
As a first time Wikipedia drafter I am keen to understand and comply with all guidelines, policies etc, so some further, specific guidance would be a great help.

Further to my previous message, just another couple of points that I forgot to add:
The review notice states the article “should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed”. However, the article I wrote ONLY contains references from independent verifiable sources, and there is NO self produced content referenced.
You mention in your review that interviews had been used as reference sources, but I was very careful not to use any quotes from company employees from news articles that included interview elements. Instead I only used reference sources that had facts, information and statements made by the professional journalist.

Review of CheckMarx
You reviewed my submission of Checkmarx and chose to decline it. This is despite the existence of articles that have far less proof of notability in the same field such as BlueOptima, CAST Application Intelligence Platform, [[Codacy], [[ConQAT] and Imagix 4D. The article on Checkmarx has sources that are similar to those articles, and for all of them has more sources, that are more reputable that report more precisely about Checkmarx. Many thanks for the re-review, this is Michael Stever, (filmmaker) I am NOT the person who created this initial draft, nor am I the one who has amended it the last couple times. There is no (Present) need for a re-review as my team has not had a change to make any changes/updates so clearly it's a mute point until then. I did have just a couple questions regarding the submission protocol and I've not been able to get a solid enough answer from the person doing this for me so am reaching out to you myself. I realize that you want more 'high profile' pieces added to to this draft, which I actually am in the process of providing. To date myself or my team have just not had the chance as we've been swamped with work, and other obligations.
In the meantime, if you don't mind me showing you the two pieces I'd planned on adding, it would be HUGELY helpful if you could give a heads up if you thought these two following write-ups could be helpful in pushing my listing through... Finally, TwistedSister... if I may humbly ask, Why do the rejection notices constantly and repeatedly say that the submissions need to be ABOUT ME, not BY ME? Most of these links and such are to write-ups in noteworthy, legitimate online publications, so I (nor the person doing this for me) are clearly understanding the particulars of this important bullet point. Can you PLEASE expand on this, so I/we know? I have NEVER had the question adequately answered, and clearly we need to better understand so my team can fine tune the draft to a most acceptable level... Is it that I need to ensure ALL links to anythings tied to my own website, (MichaelStever.net) need to be fully omitted? Am also in the dark on what does, or does NOT constitute as worthy information from IMDB, as I see COUNTLESS other wiki pages that list/feature IMDB content.
ALSO, I'm worrying that this existing draft will somehow be deleted, or permenantly removed if it gets enough 'rejection' notices, so PLEASE is there any way to ensure it NOT get re-reviewed anymore until myself and my team have time regroup, and re-edit, it would be sincerely appreciated,

In regards to the deletion because of "advertising," which elements specifically are you referring to?
References & Notability I have now compared all of our references with Wikipedia's guidelines and determined the "bad" sources.
Do I need to keep all existing references that are paired with the current content, or will I need to re-write all of it and add only the "reliable" references? Or, may I keep the current content and add the "reliable" sources to the list.
What information about the organization will provide notability?

To the reviewer of the proposed Wikipedia entry for "Helen Louise Beccard Niles":
I appreciate your making this review. I feel caught in a Catch-22 situation, though. If Helen Louise Beccard Niles were already famous, there would already be a Wikipedia page for her. Since she is not famous, it looks to be a difficult matter to demonstrate that her career is worthy of notice. I have read the Wikipedia guidelines on this subject, and I would like to offer the following comments:
--The artist's work was often written about in mainstream newspapers during her exceptionally long and productive career, as is indicated in the Notes section.
--The artist's work was chosen out for exhibit in a number of the leading art museums in the country, as well as in very many shows sponsored by the leading artist associations in her places of residence, as is indicated in the "Exhibits and Awards" section.
--There is currently a lot of scholarly interest in recovering the work of women artists and writers who had talent and did distinguished work in former years, but who never won big names during their lifetimes, whether because of personal factors affecting women's lives (such as childbearing and raising a family) or because of professional biases that favored men.
--The artist not only worked at a very high professional level. Importantly, many of her drawings, prints, and paintings are of unusual historical interest in providing visual documentation of the "vanished America" of the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s, particularly through her portraits of "people of color" and her depictions of working-class people and scenes. Her body of work can now be viewed as having become "a significant cultural monument," even though it was not viewed as such during her lifetime.
--Many of the artists' works are now scattered among private owners, and it will be to their interest to have a Wikipedia page available that provides meaningful information as to who the artist was. Likewise, scholars of the future may be interested in studying the artist's career for the light it sheds on the broader topic of women artists of the twentieth century.
--Finally, I would like to support this my claims about the distinguished character of the artist's work, as well as its historical importance, by uploading a cluster of images of her artwork to the proposed web page. I could not succeed in doing this when I tried, however, though I think I did succeed in mounting one photo of the artist herself to a Wikipedia site (though I cannot now locate where it is....). As a novice editor, how can I best upload images to the proposed page?
I apologize for the length of this reply. I've spent a lot of time preparing this entry and I'd very much like to see it approved, though I know it probably needs rewriting so as to better bring out the points I raise here. I am willing to resubmit the article but I would like to know if these thoughts seem to make sense.

Hi there Twisted Sister, I have spent lots of time researching and editing my entry for Metalock in Wikipedia. Your feedback was very useful. However, I am not convinced that the third time I have submitted the article is still good enough. Citing sources was a part of the previous rejection, however the Metalock process is a sparcely published process - but an important engineering one.
I have now submitted the draft for review, and I wonder if you would be so helpful as to give me any obvious pointers to ensuring success? I have tried to read through some of your help for beginners and that has been helpful.

I translated, from the english to the spanish, and expanded the article about Rebecca Solnit. There is no spanish article about Rebecca Solnit in the Wikipedia. My article was rejected because "the subject of this article already exists in Wikipedia. You can find it and improve it at Rebecca Solnit instead". In english you have an article, which I did not edited, but in spanish there is nothing about the author. I am new in wikipedia and I do not know what to do, how is the correct procedure when you are translating an article from a language to another? Could you give me some information about the steps I need to follow right now?
