Just Guessing
I"m guessing this sort of thing: Dick (slang) is why wiki has a large reputation for not being able to retain editors. WhoAmIYouDoNotKnow (talk) 17:40, 29 May 2022 (UTC)
- I wouldn't know. But there is already an article for Dick (slang) so there is no value in an additional blue link for the entry. older ≠ wiser 20:01, 29 May 2022 (UTC)

- It's not irrelevant. You need to stop acting like a sole arbiter. WhoAmIYouDoNotKnow (talk) 13:46, 5 June 2022 (UTC)
- So you seriously think someone coming to the disambiguation page for "dick" might actually be looking for ≈dysphemism. Sorry , but that is not only against WP:MOSDAB but also rather ridiculous. older ≠ wiser 15:41, 5 June 2022 (UTC)

Not following instructions after warning
I warned User: Elly Mar Banay Cuenca to refrain from putting a year on the series article that says upcoming or released series like what he just did with The Broken Marriage Vow. I warned him in his talk page and he should follow the guidelines. He still does the same thing after I warned him. Is there a way that we can block him for his disruptive edits? Thanks.
- If the edits are disruptive (as in being incorrect or not accurate) then you might try the incidents noticeboard. If it is matter of coaching an inexperienced editor, you might find editors willing to help at the teahouse. older ≠ wiser 13:28, 1 June 2022 (UTC)

Maga page
Why do you keep undoing my edits and calling them disruptive? I would think in the spirt of open and free communication you would at least reach out or ask a third party. Please reference a policy it may be breaking and not one persons opinion of what may or may not be deemed helpful. I found this information circulating on social media, and I’m merely presenting a possible definition others may find helpful.
Respectfully, Smader12 — Preceding unsigned comment added by Smader12 (talk • contribs) 03:32, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
- (talk page watcher) @Smader12: The excessive detail on the lead of the dab page is covered by WP:DABNOT; as for the alternative definition, if you have reliable sources about it you could start an article on it or mention it within the article on the more common definition, and then link to that from the dab page. But a dab page is not the place for unlinked content. Bkonrad is familiar enough with Wikipedia policy to not need to consult any third party on these two very clear points. PamD 06:42, 20 June 2022 (UTC)
Thank you for reply, it would have been much easier if new users were treated a little better in this environment. I’m asked donate here all the time, and when I finally make an edit, it feels like the entire site is controlled by a few people who feel they control they information—at least without any courteous comment or reply. What I had read prior to this was a link was encouraged but optional (my words based on my recollection). I will take your advice. Best regards. Smader12 (talk) 11:08, 20 June 2022 (UTC)

Be careful and responsible for any Revert made
I have reverted your Revert in NCS with specific reference.
Do your own research before reverting everything. I have seen you tried to revert multiple entries without giving any objective evidentiary argument. Just as the one you did for BASC, you did the Revert and then make everything back again. Be careful and responsible for every edit you made, per community guidances. Please carefully read WP:REVERT. I suppose you understand Wikipedia community rules and guidances as an experienced contributor. Thank you.
From the community guidance, it says that "Consider carefully before reverting, as it rejects the contributions of another editor, and all others' after the edit in question. Consider what you object to, and what the editor was attempting. Can you improve the edit, bringing progress, rather than reverting it?"
Next time, I invite you to be thoughtful to bring improvement to Wikipedia, not constantly reverting entry edits and other people's contributions. Can we? Cfls (talk) 17:49, 16 April 2023 (UTC)
- Please do not tell me that "disambiguation pages should not contain references" etc.
- Your move made this to be happened inevitably. Cfls (talk) 17:54, 16 April 2023 (UTC)
- If you ever implemented a keyword search with quotation mark on Google, you would find that "National Supervisory Commission" has 23,100 results, while "National Commission of Supervision" has 94,000 results across the Internet. The Chinese government (as well as the world media) uses both in their communications interchangeably (you can use site:gov.cn to quickly find this out). Your revert is more than interesting and thoughtful, I suppose. Cfls (talk) 18:00, 16 April 2023 (UTC)
- (talk page watcher) @Cfls To include that entry in the dab page, you need (a) a statement in the article on the commission to say that it is also known as the National Commission of Supervision: the source you added to the dab page (dab pages don't take references) would support that statement; and (b) evidence that it is also known by the initials "NCS", which is not available from that source. Until then, the entry does not belong in the dab page. PamD 18:02, 16 April 2023 (UTC)

I can appreciate the changes you made to my edits as WP:MOSDAB, except the removal of the asterix. I don't expect you to know the signifance of the Forbes Purchase to the history of the U.S. or how integral they are to the Forbes clan, please read, and I would have added a citation but a DAB page isn't the place for that. PorkyPowerPeanut (talk) 05:00, 25 April 2023 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Queen Camilla of the United Kigdom
A tag has been placed on Queen Camilla of the United Kigdom requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section R3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a recently created redirect from an implausible typo or misnomer, or other unlikely search term.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Estar8806 (talk) 12:51, 6 May 2023 (UTC)
Camilla page/talk page botched moves
Hi, apologies for the nudge but it looks like there are still problems from this mangled move. The edit history for the talk page is still at the mispelled Talk:Queen Camilla of the United Kigdom, whose main page redirects to Queen Camilla of the United Kingdom. The article should still be at Camilla, Queen Consort as a move request (to simply Queen Camilla) is in progress. Hopefully you can help fix the mess? U-Mos (talk) 12:54, 6 May 2023 (UTC)
- Talk:Queen Camilla of the United Kigdom was a cut-and-paste move. It will take some work to see whether there have been any separate edits to that copy. older ≠ wiser 12:58, 6 May 2023 (UTC)
- There was a (possibly second) copy and paste attempting to amend the spelling error, with the duplication now kept, so the edit history has been lost. But the history of the main page is intact, so no big deal I guess. U-Mos (talk) 13:05, 6 May 2023 (UTC)

Blood on the Floor – Painting, 1986
Hi can you reverse this page move back to its actual title. Neither "painting" nor "1986" were disambs; that's what the painting is usually titled as (although I do get why it might seem confusing from a wiki POV[1]. Thanks and best. Ceoil (talk) 22:09, 18 May 2023 (UTC)
- Sorry, but the Bacon estate website (among others) do not title it like that. [User:Bkonrad|older]] ≠ wiser 22:50, 18 May 2023 (UTC)
- [2], they have a different and frankly wrong formulation, but not withstanding, the painting's origional title is "blood...painting...1986[3]. He often used such titles....Painting 1946, Study of Red Pope 1962. 2nd version 1971, Triptych–August 1972, etc etc, not sure what your point is in arguing this. Ceoil (talk) 02:03, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
- Looks to me like these are descriptive, not part of the title. The sources in your links use a variety of formulations
- Blood on the Floor – Painting, 1986
- Blood on the Floor (FB; painting)
- Blood on the Floor , Painting 1986
- Blood on the Floor (1986)
- Blood on the floor - Painting ( 1986 )
- Blood on the Floor - Painting, 1986
- Blood on the Floor of 1986
- I don't see any evidence in this these sources to support claim that " – Painting, 1986" is part of the title. older ≠ wiser 02:30, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
- You seem to be right about the year, and as the article title already has the word "painting", going to drop this. Ceoil (talk) 22:30, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
- Looks to me like these are descriptive, not part of the title. The sources in your links use a variety of formulations
