Yi with acute
Appearance
Yi with Acute (Ї́ ї́; Italicized: Ї́ ї́) is a rare character in the Cyrillic Script that is almost always found in either Ukrainian, Rusyn, and Belarusian. This character is used to represent the Cyrillic letter Yi (Ї ї) with a stress accent.[1]
Usage[edit]
The letter is usually not written with an acute accent marker, as it is usually only seen in dictionaries to display when a stressed accent is used in a word with Yi (Ї ї) in some languages.
