Official Singles

[edit]

It's really not a big deal, however, I don't believe any of Montag's songs can be considered official singles, as they fail to meet the Wikipedia guidelines as to what an official single is. I would consider Body Language, Superficial, Trash Me, and Sex Ed to be promotional singles, so I'm not really sure why they are listed as otherwise. It's not a problem, I just felt it should be discussed, especially since the singles section has featured numerous songs throughout the history of the article that are no longer included.

Reviewer: Zanimum (talk · contribs) 12:12, 23 May 2013 (UTC) First glance, this looks to be in as good a shape (or better) as the article on Lauren Conrad that you successfully nominated a month ago or so, so I'll take this on. -- Zanimum (talk) 12:12, 23 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Right off the bat, a quick note: the birth date references are fine in the lead, but really the Al Roker interview and "everything that's wrong with America" should be referenced in the article itself. -- Zanimum (talk) 12:14, 23 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Done, moved that in the 2009 section in which the incident happened. WikiRedactor (talk) 19:26, 23 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

References

  • The "How to be Famous" should be fixed: you should cite the book as if you had it in your hands, but you may link to WorldCat in the URL field.

 Done

  • The citation of "Dream Come True"... keep the iTunes reference, but please see if you can supplement it with actual press coverage.

 Done

  • I'm fairly certain that the "publisher" field of cite news wasn't meant for individual's names, like "Mortimer Zuckerman".

 Done

I'll suggest that Media Village, Reality TV World, Entertainment Wise, and The Inquisitr might be good to replace with other sources, if they exist. If they're the largest outlet covering one of these statements, we'll have to reexamine. -- Zanimum (talk) 23:24, 23 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

 Done, except I couldn't find a replacement for Media Village. WikiRedactor (talk) 20:58, 24 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I've got the rest reviewed, but I've yet to type it up. -- Zanimum (talk) 01:54, 29 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • What is Bill's last name? Montag? Where does the last name O'Hara come in? Being a step brother, I would have assumed Eric would have been an Egelhoff. This genealogy needs to be ironed out.

 Done

  • Within two years at Boathouse, Heidi was an event planner. What did she start as?

 Done

  • Feel free to revert my rewording of the start of 2006-10. I wasn't a fan of how the sentences were structured before, and I'm not sure I'm too crazy about my correction. I'm just trying to get around the housemates bit being the fact quarantined to itself.

Done, let me know how you feel about it now.

  • Are there any other sources to help justify that the response to "Superficial" was "overwhelming negative"? I don't doubt it, but it would benefit from at least one or two reviews of the album itself. Is there a Rotten Tomatoes-type review aggregator for music?

Done, and Metacritic doesn't have ratings for Superficial.

Ouch.
  • A question about the Celebrity order of events... I presume Heidi's ulcer issue was before they alleged torture? Placing it first would help readers better understand the allegations.

 Done

  • Are there any other negative critical responses to Heidi's Miss America pageant performance?

 Done

  • Superficial recieved 1000 first week downloads: any stats on total sales?
Unfortunately, I couldn't find any updated numbers.
    • To be expected. I wish the music industry would be more open with its stats past the top 100, but that's competition, I suppose.
  • Speidi dropped charges against DiVello. This would be good to mention.

 Done

  • Has she been in the public eye since Big Brother UK 11?
  • Not really, that's been their most recent professional endeavor.

That should be it. -- Zanimum (talk) 17:03, 1 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yup, I think all of the GAN criteria is satisfied now. Congrats! -- Zanimum (talk) 21:16, 3 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
