There is a merge proposal to merge Pilar, Cebu, San Francisco, Cebu, Poro, Cebu, Tudela, Cebu, Pacijan Island, Ponson Island, Poro Island and Tulang Island into this article.

Oppose this merge. This article should be only about the entire island group as a whole. Unless they are tiny stubs, individual islands have can have separate articles. LGU's will always need an article as per long established standard (see also Wikipedia talk:Tambayan Philippines/Archive34#Island municipalities). But since Pilar, Cebu is coterminous with Ponson Island and San Francisco, Cebu is coterminous with Pacijan Island, in these cases the islands can be merged into the municipalities as per established practice, see respective talk pages: Talk:Pilar, Cebu and Talk:San Francisco, Cebu. -- P 1 9 9 ✉ 18:10, 13 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
