Intros

[edit]

Whoever thought the intro to Episode 37 was a reference to The Sandlot is an uncultured swine. Seriously, you didn't know that was to The Natural? Oh my God. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 146.229.126.82 (talk) 19:52, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Is the intro to episode 6 correct? Has it been verified that the intro is indeed Armageddon? 129.186.139.75 20:23, 11 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What about the intro to episode 13, looked kinda like the T2 chase scene to me... 68.150.198.213 20:25, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

it looks like the trex - geep chase scene from jurassic park they don't do it exactly but it would be better to verify via the rev3 forums...

Fair use rationale for Image:Trslogo.jpg

[edit]

Image:Trslogo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Episode list table and details

[edit]

Would it be worthwhile to replace the episode list and intro reference list with a table. This table could include the episode name, intro reference, and the movies, games, comics, tv shows, etc... reviewed. It would add usefulness by allowing readers to find an episode based on what they reviewed (i.e. "In what episode did they review Bioshock?")

Your thoughts? --Pete Wall 19:55, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

An example idea:

Episode # Title Intro reference Movie Video game TV Show Comic Description
35 Yip Yip Full House Beowulf Assasin's Creed Avatar: The Last Airbender

Garth Marenghi's Darkplace
Damages (TV series)
Pushing Daisies

The guys celebrate Thanksgiving by cooking a turkey.

Here's a full table. I'm going to store it here while I figure out how to best add it to the article. Treygdor (talk) 01:11, 28 December 2007 (UTC) Table added to article. Treygdor (talk) 00:48, 29 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I plan on working on this, but mind if I add a column for e-mail questions? Just the outline of the question, like "What superhero would you be?". -- Viewdrix (talk) 23:59, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
There might be a few to many columns already. I'm thinking maybe have Movies, TV, Videogames columns (the most regular segments) and a miscellaneous column for everything else. Treygdor (talk) 00:21, 16 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm thinking why not move the episode list to a new mini article, it seems to be overpowering the rest of the article. It also seems to be well maintained enough that it won't just be forgotten either.
Bistromaths (talk) 19:31, 18 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Totally Rad Show's gonna be around for a while longer, and the episode list is only gonna keep getting bigger. Imagine the table with 100+ entries!

Notability

[edit]

Ok, why is there the "Not Notable" thing at the top of this article? TravisHarder (talk) 05:51, 15 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It seems like it has a couple 3rd party sources, and is generally notable, I removed the templates, but if people disagree strongly add them back and/or let's talk about it. :) - cohesion 06:25, 5 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notability AGAIN

[edit]

This show won a Webby award and I don't think there can be any question of its notability, so I'm a bit puzzled as to why someone keeps adding a not notable tag to the top. I have removed it. I am absolutely stunned that Jeff Cannata, who has numerous television appearances and has participated in many additional web shows from large networks, has had his page removed. It feels more like malice than anything. Just because YOU have never heard of something doesn't mean it isn't notable. If Diggnation is notable, so is TRS.
