The 2024–25 Liga 2 will be the eighth season of the Liga 2 under its current name and the 15th season under its current league structure.
Teams
26 teams will compete in the league – the seventeen teams from the previous season, three teams relegated from the Liga 1 and six teams promoted from Liga 3.

Name changes
- Persipal removed "Babel United" from its official name, having previously acquired Muba Babel United to play in 2022–23 season.[1]
- PSPS change their full name to PSPS Pekanbaru from this season.[2]
