In 2015 Victoria openend up about her Hashimoto disease (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hashimoto%27s_thyroiditis).

Why not include that in her History?

sorting tables properly

Hey Davey2010... I have to admit, I've never seen anyone revert a change that makes tables sort properly. Can you explain your thinking here? When we have sortable tables, we don't sort text values on "The", "A", or "An". I have never seen that be considered controversial and in fact is the whole basis of having things like {{DEFAULTSORT}} so I'm interested in what guideline you're referring to here that makes doing so of "no benefit". —Joeyconnick (talk) 17:17, 22 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi If you compare your revision with my reversion the content in mine - the tables in mine go in alphabetical order whereas yours doesn't ?, Unless I've misunderstood the purpose to these which If I have I'll be happy to revert, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 17:26, 22 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
When sorting in alphabetical order, we skip/ignore articles like "The", "An", and "A". So the proper order for the film table, sorted by title, has Bigger, The First Time, and Fun Size, because for The First Time, we sort as "First Time, The". Similarly, in tv, The Boy Who Cried Werewolf is sorted under "Boy", not "The". My edit added data-sort-value elements to all the titles starting with "The", "An" or "A" so that they sorted properly (i.e. ignoring "the", "a", and "an") in the table when the table's sorted by title. Yours removed those. —Joeyconnick (talk) 17:41, 22 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry I knew that, What I'm saying is the entries are all jumbled and are not in alphabetical order meaning the "sortable" option is useless ?, If readers want to view the table alphabetically they're stuffed,
I understand from a technical point of view it is in alphabetical order but to readers not knowing "the" has been omitted it would simply look jumbled up to them? –Davey2010Talk 20:54, 22 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
This is standard practice per WP:FILMOGRAPHY. Please revert your removal. —Joeyconnick (talk) 21:56, 22 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Not anymore it's not - I see no reason why "The" etc should be omitted and I see no valid reason as to why our readers should be confused either, Given you added "data-sort-value" to the filmography page without getting a consensus first it would be you who needs to get consensus for this and it would be you who needs to get consensus for your changes here seeing as it's disputed. –Davey2010Talk 01:03, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
So let me make sure I'm recapping this right: first, you claim – with no basis – that a practice which is uncontroversial and dirt common at Wikipedia, not to mention the wider world, is somehow "confusing" and so warrants a reversal. Then, when I point you to one of our guidelines that outlines this practice, your reaction is to – and I just want to make sure we're very clear here – simply remove that part of the guideline? Wow. Okay, well... I have seen a lot of things since I started editing Wikipedia regularly but I have to give it to you – I have never seen that.
Also, just so we're clear: my recent edit added back the data-sort-values that had been in the article for over half a year without complaint and had recently been removed. So if anyone needs to "get consensus", it's not me. Plus, you don't need consensus for following well-known standards that are also covered in our guidelines. The guidelines are the consensus; otherwise, every single little edit would require major discussions. One person disagreeing with the overarching approach doesn't mean they get to revert everyone else's changes. —Joeyconnick (talk) 04:16, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
You had added this a few years ago seemingly without consensus. Like I said I see no reason why "The" etc should be omitted and I see no valid reason as to why our readers should be confused either.... –Davey2010Talk 11:10, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Restored - I sort of understand it, sort of don't, Either way categories sort them the exact same way so I don't see why these should be different, I very rarely look at categories so had no idea they were sorted the same way, Apologies for the unintentional disruption I may of caused. Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 14:50, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Change "Main role" in the Notes section of Victorious to "Lead role". Change "Main role" in the Notes section of Eye Candy to "Lead role".

Thank you. Bobduncan125 (talk) 03:46, 15 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Undone: This request has been undone. Reverted in good faith by Joeyconnick as the usage of "Main role" is intentional for article consistency. Just mentioning it here for posterity. Cheers! —Sirdog (talk) 05:26, 16 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, however, paragraph #2 states "also starred in the lead role of Lindy Sampson on the MTV thriller television series Eye Candy (2015)." Under the Careers section, we have "Justice landed a main role in the Nickelodeon series Zoey 101 as Lola." She played a lead on Victorious and Eye Candy, and a main on Zoey 101. Thank you. Bobduncan125 (talk) 02:37, 18 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
People say "lead" but there's no objective distinction between "lead" and people who are main-cast credited, so we go with the credits for the tables for consistency. —Joeyconnick (talk) 04:09, 19 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
