Life Is Peachy is Korn's second album. The album was released on October 15, 1996 through Immortal/Epic Records and has sold over 2,850,000 copies worldwide. It was produced by Ross Robinson who also produced their debut album, Korn. The album features a darker sound than the debut album, but contains more unconventional themes. A video was made showing Korn recording Life Is Peachy, entitled Who Then Now? which was included on the follow-up release Deuce

"Low Rider" is a cover of the song by the band War, with vocals by guitarist Brian "Head" Welch. "Porno Creep" is the band's only instrumental to date, taking the style of the wah-drenched pseudo-funk music which features on the soundtracks of many 1970s porn movies. "K@#Ø%!" is a song with many obscene lyrics written as a joke to spite radio censors. "Wicked" is a cover of Ice Cube's song, performed by Chino Moreno of Deftones. Both bands had played together several times, with Moreno performing the song with Korn on these occasions. A b-side to this album entitled "Proud", can be found on the I Know What You Did Last Summer soundtrack and on Live and Rare. Twist sounds like Jonathan Davis is using scat vocals, this song is actually made up of slurred words. Twist was a song that Korn were going to use on their self-titled album, as they mention it in the intro to Clown.

"No Place To Hide" earned the band a second Grammy nomination in Best Metal Performance category (it was nominated in year 1998).

The album debuted on #3 spot on The Billboard 200, selling 106,000 of copies in its first week despite minimal radio airplay and TV attention. To date, it has sold over 2 million units in the United States.
