Landev

What you did is to make an assumption about the motives of many people of which you have no understanding and certainly no proof. My assumption is based on the evidence in front of my eyes. So a user was accidentally blocked as collateral damage from the blocking of Landev - that is no proof at all. On the other hand, here is my evidence.

  • You were sockpuppeteering at the time
  • Your sockpuppets tended to be anagrams of Davnel, of which Landev fits the rule
  • Landev's edits match the topics that you edit (F1, MotoGP and GTA)
  • Landev posted a message on my talk page, stating "Keep it in mind that if you block my Daviiid, I will totally fuck up your shitty website with these other accounts that I have. Don't test me you fucking prats." Is Landev supposed to have found my talk page at random, posted a message regarding an incident involving yourself. The message is in the style of those that you have posted in the past when angry.

You have disappointed me. I really wanted you to have changed. You have shown me that you are still too immature. However, I think you could indeed become an administrator one day if you wanted to put the effort in to change. In my eyes, you would be better off if you disclosed everything that still remains to be found. Admit that you were Landev and you will hold a much better standing in my eyes. Get everything out in the open and apologise. Simple as that. What have you got to lose? Nothing. You can still keep editing articles as normal. What have you got to gain? The community will appreciate honesty and it might well tip the balance in any future adminship requests. If you have any skeletons in your closet then they could be really damaging at an RfA. Get everything out in the open now and draw a line under the past. Readro (talk) 20:08, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

You may want to re-vote in this RfA. After you voted, the RfA was pulled-off temporarily to give the candidate time to answer the three main questions. Now the RfA is back on but your original vote is not recorded there and, as I understand it, the timer has been reset. Nsk92 (talk) 20:40, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

Re:NWO FL

Ok cool, I will follow that, I think with a little bit of work, ONS can also become an FL.--SRX 21:23, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

I think NWO can qualify as a list right?--SRX 21:35, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

Re: Birthday?

Wait, you got it all wrong. It was Nici's B-Day, she just replied to my message. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 19:51, 13 July 2008 (UTC)

No, I could never do that to you. ;) Don't you remember this? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 20:06, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
Oh, I just read the Shawn and Jarrett feud and it reads well. ;) Good job. Oh, and the match between Shawn and Jarrett, hilarious. :P --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 20:10, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
Really? Who knew that was....... Yeah, you do a great job in writing everything "fake", if that's the term your looking for. ;) Question: Is With My Baby Tonight a song? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 20:51, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
No, its cool. I've heard Jeff Jarrett singing and its no pleasant. No, the reason I ask is cause if its a song it should be in quotations, rather than it being italicized. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 20:58, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
Oh, you. ;) I would have made the change myself, but I wasn't sure on it and that's why I asked you, since you are writing the article. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 21:08, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
Well, was there another "feud" that was sorta notable? If so, I think it should be added. If not, then you have your feuds already there. ;) --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 21:17, 13 July 2008 (UTC)

Feuds in old PPVs

I normally don't have trouble finding enough to write about with the mid-1990s PPVs because I watched a lot of wrestling back then and can remember the storylines well. There are a few matches that I occasionally have nothing to say about (eg. Leilani Kai vs. Alundra Blayze at WrestleMania X, because Kai wasn't even a regular competitor and hadn't appeared enough to build any sort of feud), but I can usually remember what was going on for each of them. Is there a particular match that you're wondering about with IYH2? I didn't watch as much wrestling back then, but I may be able to help. GaryColemanFan (talk) 22:03, 13 July 2008 (UTC)

Yearbook

Does the WWE yearbook have anything on Backlash or SummerSlam 2003?--SRX 14:51, 16 July 2008 (UTC)

I was looking for like event results for Backlash and SummerSlam. I haven't done any other older pay-per-views, other than Over the Edge.--SRX 14:57, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
No I don't. :( Another thing, how do you think we can write "out of universe"?--SRX 15:17, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
Thats what I hate about things like that, I mean basically WWE is real fiction and we write in that fiction with links to the words. FA criteria is so strict!!..lol--SRX 22:06, 16 July 2008 (UTC)

Similar question: Does the yearbook have anything on HBK's return to the WWE? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 00:38, 17 July 2008 (UTC)

Thanks, it does help and I just got the first sentence to quote his return. Um, does the yearbook, by any chance, have something about his return match at SummerSlam and maybe the first Elimination Chamber? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 14:20, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
Well, I just need to know if the yearbook has anything on Shawn's match with Triple H at SummerSlam '02 and the Elimination Chamber, where Shawn won it. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 15:04, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
Alright, forget the feud, but does it mention Shawn winning the EC? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 15:11, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
Well, that section all the refs. are replaced, but the ones that need replacing is SummerSlam '02 and the Survivor Series '02. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 15:15, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
Thanks, I really appreciate it. ;) Hey, does the book have anything from the 90's? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 15:29, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
Alright thanks. I guess I'm gonna have to cite the past episodes of Raw. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 15:38, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
Damn it, I was looking for something like that. Thanks for finding it, I owe you one. ;) --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 16:39, 17 July 2008 (UTC)

Well, I went to the actual website and all I could find was the link to his profile on WWE.com, again, thanks for finding it. Now, what needs to be done for sources like "Wrestling Information Archive" in the article? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 16:45, 17 July 2008 (UTC)

Yup, that's exactly it. Well, I guess I can do that, but I wanted to know before removing the refs., but I'll go with the magazine ref. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 16:57, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
I added something, but I am not sure. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 17:42, 17 July 2008 (UTC)

D.M.N., I'm VERY VERY sorry because I know you're going away, but I am unable to do the review, because I don't have the time. If you ask Nici, she might be able to. I scanned the article, and it looked great without going into much detail. Maybe tomorrow and Saturday, instead of reviewing it, I'll just make the changes myself. Apology

I have looked through the edit you posted on my talkpage and it seems I owe you an apology. The pattern of editing seemed very similar to your own and being that the account had the traits of a sockpuppet, I made a connection that wasn't there. I can understand that you feel upset and I don't think that I'd be too happy if the same happened to me. That someone impersonated you is something I find a little bizarre, but nevertheless it served to metaphorically throw more petrol on the bonfire.

Your comment on my talkpage has shown me that you have gone some way to reforming. I am leaving you this olive branch as a peace offering and the following barnstar.

For taking the right steps on the road to reform and taking some unnecessary abuse. Readro (talk) 19:54, 17 July 2008 (UTC)

I went through the article and did some copyediting. I also left a few comments on the article's talk page. The article is looking good, and I hope this helps. GaryColemanFan (talk) 20:34, 17 July 2008 (UTC)

The changes look good. They were pretty minor issues, and I agree that mentioning the older part of the buildup for Diesel's match is essentially optional. GaryColemanFan (talk) 13:50, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

Hey, I've never nominated anything for protection at requests for protect. So could you nominate Hard Justice (2008) for me? I'm tired of all the IPS removing stuff.--WillC 19:34, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

Okay, thanks. I was just about to get started on it and I don't want IPs to screw stuff up as they have been removing the new out of universe stuff alot.--WillC 19:51, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
Yeah I saw that. Good that gives me 48 hours to write the Event and copyedit the background as well as add references before IPS start to screw it up again. The only problem I can't seem to find Hard Justice anywhere. Slam hasn't even put up a review yet.--WillC 20:17, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
They'll probably make another after while. It seems that was just a filler until someone else writes one. Interesting though since I was on there a hour ago and didn't see it.--WillC 20:30, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
I've already got enough sources for the background. From WrestleView, PW Torch, and Wrestling Observer. I'm not even finished with the background yet. Since I like to add more than four matches since there are two more matches that have enough build up to them that a good size section can be wrote. I'll have the thing finished by Saturday, well besides that Aftermath and Reception. I have to wait till October for that when the DVD is released. The sad thing is TNA doesn't release how much of a profit they made or buy rates. If they do release buy rates it won't be until February.--WillC 20:43, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
Okay, well I'll let you know. Right now I'm not sure. I probably won't be on much since I got a few things to do in real life. I'm just trying to get all this done because I have alot more to do in other articles. Like take Sacrifice (2008) the rest of the way out of universe. Also fixing Victory Road and Slammiversary. I never did write the event for Victory Road. I started yesterday so I might have that fixed soon.--WillC 20:51, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

D2D and WM

I finished the comments on D2D. Also, I don't remember the bit about Tyson and WrestleMania being in either of Foley's books. I skimmed the books and couldn't find it, so I removed the info. Nikki311 20:37, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

Removal of the columns attribute on {{reflist}}

Hi,

I've noticed that several times you have removed the columns attribute on the {{reflist}} attribute in articles with the summary:

Some browsers cannot cope with [x] columns

While this is true, browsers which do not support the attribute should simply ignore it. Are you removing this attribute because you are personally having display issues with this template? I don't believe it should be removed on-sight if there is another way to resolve the issue. Chris Cunningham (not at work) - talk 13:25, 14 August 2008 (UTC)

RE: Kliq

I agree. We can keep working on it. Nikki311 16:04, 14 August 2008 (UTC)

You're right. The Curtain Call section is looking fine for now. I want to add some more early history and more examples of their booking power backstage. I've already added one involving Shane Douglas. The nWo/DX section definitely needs some cleanup and sources. Some of the info seems like it might be hard to source (like the info about Smart Marks) and might have to be eventually removed if we can't. I'm going to see if I can find Hall and Nash's RF shoot interviews online somewhere, because from what I can tell from descriptions, they mention the Kliq a lot. Nikki311 21:55, 15 August 2008 (UTC)

Section headers

Thanks for your message. I don't want to be giving incorrect information to other editors. I'm confused, though, because I took what I said straight out of the Manual of Style: "Do not place left-aligned images directly below second-level (===) headings, as this disconnects the heading from the text it precedes." I'll ask around and see if I can figure out what the guideline actually means, as it seems to be self-contradictory. GaryColemanFan (talk) 16:55, 14 August 2008 (UTC)

I'm a bit short of time right now, but I'll do it tomorrow.--Diniz(talk) 19:09, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
You're right on both counts - the page number is 232 and the word should be "but". Sorry for the typo!--Diniz(talk) 19:23, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

I don't know what template you tried to send, but it did not work. Dalejenkins | 18:38, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

RE:FYI

Thanks, I guess I wasn't paying attention to that. Ehh, I hate 3RR. :p lol--SRX 21:21, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

I'm done the copyedit, if there are any questions don't hesitate to ask. It's not mandatory or anything but tables are the only things that are exceptions to WP:OVERLINK, so you can add the links to the table if you want.--SRX 00:21, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

Your welcome :) It was a challenge for me because it was a PPV that took place way before the new era.--SRX 14:37, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

I'm not really in the mood for a PR now, but I took a glance at the article and it looks good. Just make sure you've taken on board the FAC feedback and acted accordingly on this article (images springs to mind, dunno if it's resolved, can't remember the specifics of what happened last time). —Giggy 08:11, 21 August 2008 (UTC)

95 Jap GP

Awesome work. Marvelous persistence. I'll take a look at the Pacific GP right now. The Rambling Man (talk) 15:35, 21 August 2008 (UTC)

The "Personal attack"

I don't believe that was a personal attack, I believe it was a reference to the fact that you always seem to classify posts of mine as WP:FORUM even though they actuay have a point behind them.(also, if I'm MYSPACE in my edits, so are a ot of users) PXK T /C 18:13, 21 August 2008 (UTC)

Bryan Danielson Userbox deletion

Made some changes, hope it's more acceptable now: can I just point out that anyone who knows anything about Bryan Danielson will understand that it is appropriate, but I can get your reasons for concern. Have deleted format section on top, as I don't want a bloody great box appearing on my userpage. Lafraisne (talk) 19:10, 21 August 2008 (UTC)

1995 Pacific Grand Prix

Normally I would tell editors to go for GA to gain further input, but I do think this has a chance at FAC. If you don't want to wait a month for a good article review, and if you've incorporated all suggestions from the other FA, by all means take it to FAC. Just make sure you fix reference 4 first, with its "forecful" and "well it's (does 'a' go here?) very different point of view from 'insider' the cockpit." :-) Giants2008 (17-14) 15:41, 22 August 2008 (UTC)

Please do let me know, as I enjoy reviewing articles like this. Giants2008 (17-14) 16:11, 22 August 2008 (UTC)

Re: TNA Roster

Thanks, I just started on it the other day. I just need more reliable sources for the real names. I have enough for the ring name, if that even needs a source, but not enough for the real names. I plan on having it done by this Saturday and under peer review by Sunday. The only problem is when I place it in the article everyone is going to freak and remove it. Hopefully everyone will be fine with it but this is a bigger change than the out of universe and the ips are going to go crazy. Just keep it a secret. Next thing I know everyone is going to be on me for trying to get it to FL. The url thing is a thing I do. I just adapted it. It doesn't cause a problem really. It just gives the sources a link all the time to know the site that it came from. I just hope IGN will work for pro wrestling. It works for video game FAs i.e. (Guitar Hero (video game), hopefully they will be find with it here. But thanks for the help. I have a quick request, first have you ever worked on a video game article? If you have would you like to work with me to get TNA Impact! (video game) to FA when it is released? I was just looking for someone to work with to cut the time and work in half.--WillC 20:00, 22 August 2008 (UTC)

Yeah I was thinking about doing that. Before it is in the article, open a section at WT:PW to tell everyone that I want to make it an FL and that the finished product is in a subpage located here. That way a agreement is made at WT:PW and I have a reason to stop IPs instead of just saying I want to expand it to FL. Though I don't believe anyone at WP:PW will disagree with expanding the article. Thanks for the cleanup when you do it. I never saw it anywhere else. I just thought about it for a second and started doing it. No one has had a problem with it yet besides you.--WillC 21:48, 22 August 2008 (UTC)

thx

for telling me. at least someone around wikipedia isnt a moron. i haven't vandalised any pages, and to be honest he got MUCH more offensive then i did. this works nothing like wikia (of which i am far more active in), so i really don't know how to report vandals on here. Ref edits

Hi. Any spaces between a vertical-line character, parameter name and either side of a subsequent equals character are removed so that when any need linewrapping, all are linewrapped together. This makes it less likely that any one of them is accidentally viewed as orphaned and should also make it easier to spot any carriage-returns accidentally inserted or left behind from previous edits (which may then generate problems further down the line, e.g. when <ref>s moved in then out or out then back within template transclusions). Hope that makes some sense. Sardanaphalus (talk) 09:52, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
