Ray William Johnson (1)He's number 5 most subscribed. He NEEDS to be added. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Shaken Earth (talk • contribs) 00:43, 14 June 2010 (UTC) Agreed! 184.98.42.221 (talk) 19:58, 29 July 2010 (UTC) Ray William Johnson and Dave Days. Why not?How about Ray William Johnson? He's got one of the most viewed shows in YouTube. He uploads two new episodes each week and a great number of people watches them every day. I don't mean that he should be added to the list because of that, just because he is an actual good comedian and makes interesting videos and they are interactive with viewers. I also think that Dave Days should be added to the list because he is a great musician in many different music styles as well as comedian, and he is one of the most subscribed musicians in YouTube. Meekakitty, RayWilliamJohnson, Juicystar07, AllThatGlitters21This list is WAY too old and all the people in my topic should be on this list. Most of the people in the article are one hit wonders and dont even deserve to be on this list. Please update this list. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.229.136.172 (talk) 22:53, 23 February 2010 (UTC)

RAY WILLIAM JOHNSON!! WHERE IS HIS NAME? X({{editsemiprotected}} I would like it if Ray William Johnson's name was added, after all he is one of the MOST famous Youtube superstars known. I was disappointed not to see his name on the list. His videos are often featured and the most watched ones on Youtube. He even has a t-shirt selling in Hot Topic like hot cakes. I would really appreciate it his name would be added, as he is THE most well known comedian on Youtube and I actually respect that guy. Thanks! http://www.youtube.com/user/RayWilliamJohnson This template must be substituted.

Edit request from 83.163.102.185, 31 August 2010{{editsemiprotected}} RayWilliamJohnson should be on the list. He is in the top 10 most subscribed of all time and has a very popular youtube show called equals 3. 83.163.102.185 (talk) 16:23, 31 August 2010 (UTC)
Got the stuff to add Ray William Johnson, so please add him.Edit Request from me...Well, I'm not good at putting it references on Wikipedia, but I am good at research. I have found three news articles that mention Ray William Johnson: http://newteevee.com/2010/08/18/for-youtube-the-money-is-in-music/ Add him please. PokeHomsar (talk) 00:17, 4 September 2010 (UTC)
Edit request from 24.193.58.166, 2 September 2010{{editsemiprotected}} Ray William Johnson is not mentioned on the list and currently has the fourth most subscribed channel on youtube. This means that he has more subscribers and views than most of the people on the list and he should be acknowledged. 24.193.58.166 (talk) 03:35, 2 September 2010 (UTC)

Request to add RayWilliamJohnson to the list, due to his being one of the most subscribed users on youtube and increasing popularity. I recognize he has had no substanstial recognition outside of youtube, but his contributions to the youtube are impossible to ignore.
Also, a request to add Schmoyoho, due to their increasing popularity from their "Auto-Tune the news segments" and frequent songs created from various viral videos.

- Not done You're right, he doesn't seem to have had any substantial recognition outside YouTube (hence the vast list of previous requests above...) Regardless, we do need references from reliable sources (not YouTube!) before any one gets added. TFOWR 18:15, 5 October 2010 (UTC)

Victor ?????
I think that Victor ????? (Gimmeabreakman / Gimmeaflakeman / maggiesensei [all the same person]) should be added to this list as I've noticed Hanna Minx is on there but has 3x less subscribers and they are both part of the j-vlog celeb status. I don't know his last name though. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.198.92.21 (talk) 03:05, 24 September 2010 (UTC)
- Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 04:54, 24 September 2010 (UTC)
Here are the sources: http://www.youtube.com/user/Gimmeabreakman http://www.youtube.com/user/Gimmeaflakeman http://www.youtube.com/user/gimmeabonedog
Those are the three that I know, however I misread his info and it turns out it's not 300,000+ subscribers, those were just channel views for one of his channels. The only other thing I can think is that he seems to be the ring-leader and helps organize the Youtube J-vBlog community. So as far as this edit is concerned, yes he's very famous in the Japanese vlogging community, but he's not as famous as hannah minx. My apologies.
- All the sources you provided are from YouTube, subscribers and view counts do not assert notability. You need to provide article outsides of YouTube such as news articles. Kyle1278 00:57, 28 September 2010 (UTC)

Edit request from Smileifulovemebaby, 2 October 2010
{{edit semi-protected}}
I would like to suggest that either I, or someone else add three other major Youtube personalities.
1-Brentalfloss, known for writing lyrics and making videos to video game songs. Now featured on Screw Attack, and has released an album http://www.youtube.com/user/brentalfloss?feature=chclk 2- The Angry Video Game Nerd (The Angry Nintendo Nerd), aka James Rolfe. Reviews and critiques exceptionally old and bad games. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Angry_Video_Game_Nerd http://www.youtube.com/user/JamesNintendoNerd also on Screw Attack. 3- Mega64 (aka Rocco Botte Derrick Acosta Shawn Chatfield Garrett A. Hunter) known for making skits based on video games. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mega64 http://www.youtube.com/user/roccob64?blend=1&ob=4 http://www.youtube.com/user/IGNentertainment?feature=chclk
Please consider adding these well known Youtube personalities to the list.
Thanks!
Smileifulovemebaby (talk) 21:59, 2 October 2010 (UTC)
- James Rolfe was not on YouTube first. The rest need references proving how they are notable. As well, there is no need to double post your request. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 00:10, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
- Not done: per above. Notability needs to be established first. Thanks, Stickee (talk) 03:23, 3 October 2010 (UTC)
UPDATE: Sorry I didn't mean to post it twice. Weren't the youtube, and wiki pages enough? Judging by the views, and the fact that two of them are on screw attack as well, I think that's saying enough. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Smileifulovemebaby (talk • contribs) 18:29, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
- Anybody can have a YouTube channel or Wikipedia page. That doesn't make them notable. We need references showing their notability. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 14:05, 9 October 2010 (UTC)

Alexis Jordan
I'm not sure if she should be put on the list. She was on America's Got Talent before she was on YouTube. So I'm iffy on keeping her on the list. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 23:19, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
- I'd say keep her on. She might have been on AGT first but she has gained notability only afterwards, when she was (re)discovered on YouTube. It would have been different if she had been notable before she was on YouTube but seeing as she wasn't, I think she belongs here. Regards SoWhy 14:53, 11 October 2010 (UTC)

Kipkay
D':> where's Kipkay?
82.12.1.173 (talk) 15:43, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
- I'm unsure whether he fits on this list. It's for people who rose to prominence due to YouTube, not people who became prominent and then contributed to YouTube. Based on his article, I think one could argue that he rose to prominence on Metacafe and then moved to YouTube afterwards and thus he is not within the list's scope. But I'd like to hear what others think about it. Regards SoWhy 17:23, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
Lily Allen
A comment to previous request: It's for people who rose to prominence due to YouTube. Well then, why isn't Lily Allen on this list? She's the first one that I heard of who got popular on Youtube and after got a recording deal. And I have understood that Kate Nash did the same thing, not sure though.
