The following is a list of demoparties, past and present.

(Note: Year ranges might include years when the party wasn't organized, but was organized both before and after.)

7DX Party Turkey Istanbul, Turkey 2002 - 7DX is an annual demoparty that has been held since 2002 in Turkey. It is Turkey's first demo party that consists of demo-oriented competitions.
Abduction Finland Rovaniemi, Oulu, Finland 1994 - 1998 An annual demoparty held in Northern Finland, originally in Rovaniemi (twice) and then later in Oulu.
Abstract Party Poland Gliwice, Poland 2001 - 2005
Alternative Party Finland Helsinki, Finland 1998 - An alternative party visited mostly by demoscene veterans.
Ambience Netherlands Venlo, Netherlands 1998 - 2002 After 2000 continued as smaller separated gaming parties
Arok Hungary Ajkarendek, Hungary 1999 - 8-bit demoparty every year
Assembly Finland Helsinki, Finland 1992 - One of the longest running demoparties in the world. See also: Boozembly
BCN Party Spain Barcelona, Spain 2000 - 2007
Birdie Sweden Uppsala, Sweden 1992 -
Bizarre Netherlands Etten-Leur, Netherlands 1994 - 2000 First PC Demo Party in The Netherlands, 1994: Nijmegen, rest in Etten-Leur.
Blockparty United States Cleveland, Ohio, USA 2007 - The largest actively running demoparty in North America.
Breakpoint Germany Bingen, Germany 2003 - 2010 Formerly the world's largest "scene-only" demoparty, successor of the Mekka & Symposium party series.
Buenzli Switzerland Winterthur, Switzerland 1999 -
Bushparty Norway Porsgrunn, Norway 1994 - 1999
Chaos Constructions Russia Saint Petersburg, Russia 1999 - The largest demoparty in ex-Soviet countries, successor of the Enlight parties.
Codex Alpe Adria Italy Udine, Italy 2003 - 2006 Alternative computing and demoscene event with a focus on C64 and Amiga. The demoscene section later split off to form Horde.
Coven Template:Falgicon Adelaide, Australia 1996 - 2001
Compusphere Sweden Uddevalla, Göteborg, Jörlanda, Sweden 1993 - One of the oldest and still on going demoparties in Sweden. Went from a LAN party to a scene-only party in 2002.
DreamHack Sweden Jönköping, Sweden 1994 - World's largest LAN-party, with demo events
Datastorm Sweden Göteborg, Sweden 2010 - Amiga/C64 Copyparty
Euskal Encounter Spain Barakaldo, Spain 1994 - Demo- and LAN-party.
Evoke Germany Köln, Germany 1997 - Demoparty organized by Digitale Kultur e. V..

FOReVER Slovakia Trenčín, Slovakia 2000 - Pure 8-bit (Atari, Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum) party.

The Gathering Norway Hamar, Norway 1992 - Norway's largest demoparty, which recently has become more of a LAN/game-party.
Hackerence Sweden Härnösand, Sweden 1989 - 2000 Organized by the youth club ComUn (Computer Union).
Horde Italy Udine, Italy 2007 - A result of a split from Codex Alpe Adria (computer event) to focus on demoscene only. It currently is the only 100% pure demoscene event in Italy.

Mekka & Symposium Germany Fallingbostel, Germany 1996 - 2002 One of the most respected demoparties. Part of the organizing staff went on to create Breakpoint.

NAID Canada Longueuil, Quebec, Canada 1995 - 1996 The first, and to date, largest demoparty in North America.
