Your recent edits

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you must sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 19:43, 20 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Westland Lynx. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If the edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. BilCat (talk) 12:53, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of Interest

Your appear to be connected with the United Technologies Research Center an associate company of Sikorsky Helicopters and as such you may have a conflict of interest with editing articles about helicopters in particularly to remove information from the Westland Lynx article. Can you please read the Conflict of Interest guidelines and suggest that you avoid articles related to your company or their rivals. MilborneOne (talk) 15:31, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we must insist that you assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not on Sikorsky X2. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. The Popular Mechanics reference clearly states the record is unofficial. Calling the valid edit I made vandalism could be considered a personal attack. -fnlayson (talk) 17:33, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

COI was read and writter does not meet criteria identified. Writer can only wonder about COI of other editors who insisit on using qualitative rather than quantitative statements to obtain obfuscation regarding speed obtained by X2 and questionable record of Lynx? Questionable as this helicopter has come to the boundary of single rotor helicopters and FAI requires a certain percentage increase for records being broken - thus making the Lynx record technically unbreakable. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.249.47.165 (talkcontribs)

I've added a reference to the Sikorsky press release t othe article, in which they clearly state "The speed, reached during a 1.1-hour flight, is an unofficial speed record for a helicopter." The itatlics is word for word what we have in the article. - BilCat (talk) 18:27, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Warning

Please take note - You still appear to be editing articles related to Sikorsky or its rivals contrary to the guidelines on conflict of interest. You also appear to be edit waring on the same subjects. If you persist you may have your editing rights restricted or removed. MilborneOne (talk) 21:09, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
