July 2007

[edit]

This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did to Lache, you will be blocked from editing. You introduced fictitious people, some with sexual overtones, as the councillors, and, thus, this immediate warning is justified.}

[edit]

Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to List of countries by population. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Kafka Liz (talk) 16:51, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Stockport Viaduct

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Stockport Viaduct requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Rnb (talk) 19:34, 19 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Aaron Allen

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Aaron Allen requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

Minkythecat (talk) 11:03, 17 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted this edit you made to the article on the Stockport viaduct. Not only is it uncited, but I think you're aware that it's inappropriate for an encyclopedia. Please do not add information like this again. Nev1 (talk) 12:05, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Upon a more detailed reading of the article it appears that parts appear to be copied directly from the Stockport council website. This is completely unacceptable and breaches copyright. While this edit was made 6 months ago, it is concerning that once you were made aware of copyright issues on your user page about other pages you did not return to the Stockport viaduct article to correct it. I strongly recommend that you review any other potentially copyright breaching edits you've made and rewrite them. Here is and example of how to adapt the prose to avoid breaching copyright. Nev1 (talk) 20:54, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Would you care to explain this edit? Nev1 (talk) 13:49, 5 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to know where I was previously made aware of copyright issues? Thank you for making me aware, however you're incorrect in stating I was previously aware. (Aaron Allen (talk) 01:59, 7 November 2011 (UTC))[reply]
