Thanks for the star

Thanks for sending me a star for my 1,000th edit. Nice to get this. There's still a lot to do so I will now aim for the 10,000 mark. This might take a little time! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pmccawley (talkcontribs) 21:27, April 25, 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for reviewing, but...

Thanks for reviewing the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union article, but as you may have noticed, I'm not entirely finished. Would it be possible for you to wait a day or two, so I could finish my work on the article? Everything is ready, I just haven't found the time to edit the article in a long time. Is it okay or not? Bye. --TIAYN (talk) 14:51, 20 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Old entry from 2004

Greetings. I run into contributions by User:Emax today. Emax was a prolific contributor before he quit Wikipedia in February 2005. He used to correspond with you. While I was looking at the history of his stub on Jan Szczepanik created in 2004 (and its possible source), I discovered that there's a chance of some serious copyright issues in his early submissions. Would you please look into it, just to make sure that we're OK with everything he did by now? Thanks. Poeticbent talk 15:13, 20 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Does the new ALT hook solve the problems you had with this DYK, or has something not been addressed that needs to be? Please stop by the nomination. Thanks! BlueMoonset (talk) 05:22, 21 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Kabaret TEY

The article Siege of Smolensk (1632–1633) you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needed to be addressed. If these are fixed within seven days, the article will pass, otherwise it will fail. See Talk:Siege of Smolensk (1632–1633) for things which need to be addressed. The article Siege of Smolensk (1632–1633) you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Siege of Smolensk (1632–1633) for comments about the article. Well done! There is a backlog of articles waiting for review, why not help out and review a nominated article yourself? GoPTCN 18:35, 21 June 2012 (UTC) [reply]

Hi,

I have started reviewing your nomination and made a list of comments at Talk:1919 Polish coup d'état attempt in Lithuania/GA1. I'm interested in your feedback! Regards, MathewTownsend (talk) 20:06, 21 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

DYKs

(You wrote)

I expanded Pod Egidą and Olga Lipińska, so they are both DYKable now, I think. You can nominate them if you'd like :) --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 19:00, 21 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Let's split it between you and I, why don't we. Please nominate Pod Egidą if you want, and I will nominate Lipińska with a few touchups. Would that be OK with you? Poeticbent talk 21:54, 21 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for giving me the time to finish off the article... I've responded at the GA review page to you're comments. --TIAYN (talk) 12:43, 22 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free rationale for File:Warsaw Uprising poster - Walcząc z Ogniem Bronisz Warszawy.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Warsaw Uprising poster - Walcząc z Ogniem Bronisz Warszawy.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 11:29, 22 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
