JECRC University is a private university located in the city of Jaipur, in Rajasthan in India. The University is located at Sitapura Industrial Area. Estd. under the Act No.15/2012 of the Government of Rajasthan, Notification FIL2 (23) Vidhi/2/2012, dated 02/05/2012. The University is established with the vision to become a centre of higher learning and to contribute services towards academic, professional, cultural and social enrichment of the lives of students and of communities.

History

The JECRC Foundation established twelve years ago to promote education in engineering, science, management, pharmacy and pure & applied sciences. The Foundation started its journey with the setting up of Jaipur Engineering College & Research Centre (JECRC). This was the first step and it laid to the setting up of many more colleges like:

  • Uttam Devi Mohan Lal College of Engineering (UDML)
  • Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Applied Sciences (MGIaS)
  • JECRC Business School

The JECRC University is established under the aegis of JECRC Foundation, of which the above mentioned institutes are a part of.

Collaboration with University of Alabama

The Collaboration of the JECRC Foundation with University of Alabama, a leading University of The United States of America, in 2011 was a venture to enhance and enrich the academic, technical and cultural exposure of the JECRC University students.
