Eastside Preparatory School is a private high school and middle school in Kirkland, Washington, USA.[3]
History
Eastside Prep was founded in May 2002 by a group of parents and educators. These parents hoped to create a school that was academically rigorous and engaging[citation needed]. The school opened its doors in September 2003 with 16 students in grades six and seven, along with three full-time and one part-time faculty. In 2004, the school maintained 100% retention of its students and faculty and gained an additional 31 students for a total of 45.[citation needed] In 2005, the school had 81 students in grades 6-9 and had acquired 4 buildings at their location. Eastside Prep has expanded each year, adding students, faculty, administrators and buildings and in 2009-2010 enrolled over 170 students in grades five through twelve. In the 2011 school year the school had 55 employees, and 240 students in grades five through twelve.[1][4]
