Explorer? Photographer?
What is the nature of her exploration? What has she photographed? -- Hoary 07:32, 1 October 2006 (UTC)
As a brief overview of her artistic output, a synopsis of her major showings. If I recall correctly there were a number of photographs at the Soviet Design exhibitions but I'd have to dig out the catalogues. In any case I have seen any number of Anni's photos.
- Drawings and sculptures, 1985, Wanhan galleria, Helsinki
- Siberia, 1987, Pelin galleria, Helsinki
- America, 1989, Pelin galleria, Helsinki
- Texas-Sevettijärvi, 1990, Wäinö Aaltonen museum, Turku
- Soviet Design, 1996, Kaapelin galleria, Helsinki
- Soviet Design: Objects of everyday life in the Soviet Union, 1996, Lenin museum, Tampere
- Kreisland, 1997, Pelin galleria, Helsinki
- Björktavlor, 2001, Kaapelin galleria, Helsinki
- Metsä, 2003, Galleria Krista Mikkola, Helsinki
- Finlandia, 2004-2005, Urho Kekkonen Museum, Helsinki
As a brief indication of her travels: [1]; it should further be noted that by training she is a cultural anthropologist. Sjc 06:00, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
- If she's had photo exhibitions, let's have independent proof of this.
- I've been to lots of places too. -- Hoary 09:57, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
Avoids publicity?
The article says: Liksom avoids publicity, and has seldom allowed herself to be photographed.
The article links to her website, which publicizes herself and seems to have a different photo of her on its every page. -- Hoary 09:57, 1 June 2007 (UTC)
née Anni Ylävaara?
As far as I know, "née" means maiden name. However, that is her real name, and Rosa Liksom her artist name/pen name.
For example, Marilyn Monroe has is like this: born Norma Jeane Mortenson. Should it be like that also here? 82.141.67.203 (talk) 11:13, 3 March 2013 (UTC)
