Georgian letters

Hi. If you're going to have an article for each Georgian letter, then you'll want to see about replacing the links on the letters in the template {{georgian language}}, which I added to two of the articles (eni and gani). I seriously wonder whether the individual Georgian letters are sufficiently notable to justify giving each letter its own separate article. Unless there are sources discussing each Georgian letter individually (as can be done, for example, in the existing articles for Latin and Cyrillic letters), I'm strongly inclined to say that these Georgian letter articles should be deleted and (maybe, maybe not) replaced by redirects to the Georgian alphabet article. — Rich wales (no relation to Jimbo) 04:44, 19 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

With all respect Rich, I think you are wrong. Those letters will stay as I am going to perfect those articles time by time. It shows how the letters were changed by time from asomtavruli till mkhedruli so it is very much needed to have its own articles. Please note that it's not only the English wikipedia which will have the articles on seperate Georgian letters but there are other wikis as well on it and that means that it is an important issue to have its own articles about. GJ, I would strongly recommend you show us all an example of what sort of detail you propose to add about each Georgian letter. Choose one letter, create a draft page in a subpage of your own user space (I can show you how to do this if you need help), and add all the material and sources you can. Right now, I think people are skeptical that there really is the amount of detailed, well-sourced information for each letter of the Georgian alphabet to support a separate article for each one — but if you can convince people via one really good "proof of concept" draft page, then you'll have a much better chance of gaining support for your idea. — Rich wales (no relation to Jimbo) 14:50, 19 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Adrian. She is known in Georgia as Skhirtladze and I can bring the sources who say that she is Elene Skhirtladze. So you're saying she is not Skhirtladze? So what is her birth surname then? Mostly I'm going by this edit and others from that account, in which a person who says she is the actress Elena Satine says that is her birth name, and she has no idea where the Skhirtladze name comes from. See also this and this edit; it appears Elena herself has edited for corrections several times. I can't find any reliable source in English that use "Skhirtladze", and it doesn't appear in imdb or her fansite. I realise they're both poor sources, though, and that I can't verify that User:Elenasatine really is who she says she is. Do you have a reliable source in Georgian that uses Skhirtladze? Adrian J.
