Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Lachipaino.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 13:36, 6 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Ugly Beautiful has been reverted.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \bmyspace\.com (links: http://www.myspace.com/lachimusic).

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 20:03, 1 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Los Ciegos Del Barrio, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.losciegosdelbarrio.com/bio.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Hi, I'm afraid that even brief quantities of text cannot be copied from external sources into Wikipedia except in compliance with WP:C and WP:NFC. This includes sentences such as "He's the only member who's actually not visually impaired", which you copied from [1], and "Over the two week span, Los Ciegos presented twenty two free performances of their merengue, bachata, and salsa stylings, including one in a school for visually impaired students in Santo Domingo", which was pasted from [2]. Additionally, we cannot closely paraphrase content, but must write it from scratch in our own words. I've removed some of the text from this article that is not compliant with policy. If you are the copyright holder and want to release this text for reuse under a compatible license, please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. Alternatively, you're welcome to use the facts so long as you do so in new language, utilizing brief, clearly marked quotations where necessary. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:43, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly unfree File:Ulachi.jpg

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Ulachi.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files because its copyright status is unclear or disputed. If the file's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the file description page. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. --MacMedtalkstalk 01:16, 17 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Lachi (album) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not a notable album per WP:NALBUMS and WP:GNG.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Dr. Marcellina Offoha. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.  -- WikHead (talk) 00:47, 2 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Marcellina Offoha has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Los Ciegos Del Barrio, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Lachi (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 12:07, 23 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Just Seeing This Now

I am relatively new to wiki-editing / creating and did not notice these warning labels until this morning. Please inform me of how to adequately add a reference; or how to notate an article so that it is reflected as informative instead of advertizing. Carolyn Ghezzi is a published recording artist and a talent manager managing several published artists. I am requesting an undelete, and would love to know how to remedy the situation. Thanks so much for your time and attention! Best, Pyrobob451 (talk) 13:24, 29 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Carolyn Ghezzi, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. reddogsix (talk) 03:59, 29 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
