This is a List of some converts to Islam from Hinduism.

Karima Begum Mother of A. R. Rahman, formerly known as Kasturi Shekhar,[1] she was was a practicing Hindu.[2] She and her family (including A. R. Rahman) converted to Islam. [2]
Jayabaya a Javanese king in Indonesia in the 12th Century CE, famous for his prophecies of Dutch colonialism and Japanese invasion. Jayabaya allegedly converted under the influence of a Turkish sufi. [3]
Murshid Quli Khan the Mughal governor of Bengal. [4]
Muhammed Yusuf Khan Born Maruthanayagam Pillai, he converted to Islam and later served as Commandant for the British East India Company troops. [5]
Mamta Kulkarni Former Bollywood actress who converted to Islam and is living in Nairobi,Kenya. [6][7]
Malik Maqbul Prime Minister or Wazir of the Delhi Sultanate, during the reign of Feroz Shah Tughlaq. [8]
Rekha Maruthiraj A former Indian actress who converted to Islam. Her parents are of Hindu-Christian origin. [9]
Abdul Wahid Pedersen Danish cleric. [10]
Deen Mohammad Shaikh a Muslim missionary. Shaikh's efforts are reported to have led to the conversion of 100,000+ Hindus to become Muslims. [11]
Kabir Suman Modern Bengali singer & songwriter officially converted to Islam from Hinduism in 2000 following marriage. [12]
Jalaluddin Muhammad Shah son of Raja Ganesha, Shah would convert to Islam. He would later introduce Islam to many Hindus. [13]
Sharmila Tagore Indian film actress. Converted after marriage to M A Patudi. [14][15]

Wajih-ul-Mulk Father of Zafar Khan Muzaffar. Zafar Khan Muzaffar was the founder of the Muzaffarid dynasty. [17]
Baba Shadi Shaheed Baba Shadi Shaheed was a Hindu-Rajput convert to Islam. [18]
Kamal Uddin Ahmed Formerly known as Kamal Dasgupta, he converted to Islam. [19]
Malik Maqbul Formerly known as Yugandhar, Maqbuli converted to Islam. [20]
Nilufar Begum Born into a Brahmin family, Sumita Devi changed her name to Nilufar Begum after converting to Islam. [21]
Steven Vikash Chand Arrested in the 2006 Toronto terrorism arrests [22]
Malikussaleh Originally Mara Silu, he converted to Islam and changed his name to Malikussaleh. [23]
Parameswara Convert who changed his name to Iskandar Shah. [24]
Dhoondia Wao Opponent of the British East India company. Converted to Islam and took up the name, Malik Jahan Khan. [25]
