Why my article is declined? Please help me to create an article is acceptable by wiki Binil Joy (talk) 14:29, 4 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Binil Joy, at the point when Chrissymad declined your draft, there was all of one reference. This is the reason it was declined. It looks like you've added more, which is good. Good luck! Primefac (talk) 15:47, 4 January 2018 (UTC) (talk page stalker)[reply]

CDI Disambiguation page

Hi Chrissymad, just curious as to why you have reverted my change to this page? Carthage52 (talk) 11:11, 6 January 2018 (UTC)Carthage52[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: Moser's Rides

Hello Chrissymad. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Moser's Rides, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Producing a notable product indicates importance/significance (WP:CCSI#CORP). Thank you. SoWhy 13:51, 9 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion

I notice that you tagged the page ShowBiz Cinemas for speedy deletion with the reason "non-notable business". While that's a valid reason for speedy deletion in general, this page does not qualify for speedy deletion under that criterion because the article states that the chain owns 7 locations with 117 screens, which is a plausible indication of notability. If you still want the page to be deleted, please consider tagging it with a speedy deletion template which does apply, redirecting it to another page, proposing the page for deletion if it appears to be an uncontroversial matter, or taking the page to WP:AFD for discussion on the merits. Thanks! Template:Z5 Stifle (talk) 09:34, 10 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

17:51:13, 10 January 2018 review of submission by VandelBuster

Hello Chrissymad,

I'm trying to get this going here and I'm having troubles. Obviously. Haha. I have a few questions and need some help clarifying things/get a better understanding.

So, author interviews are primary sources, and I have more than enough of those. The newly added stuff from Columbia College's archives, that's all primary, except the DEMO 10 Magazine (Ref 34), as well. Mainly because they're from the time he graduated as opposed to being after he graduated, which the DEMO 10 Magazine says. Is that correct?

Book pages on the publishers own sites, are those primary as well?

Book reviews are secondary sources, right? I have a bunch of them, but I don't know if there's an acceptable amount per book/story. I mean, I don't want to put up six or seven for one book.

Lastly, what's an acceptable amount of references overall? I see pages being accepted with four or seven, you know? I've had to have more seconadry than that already, right? That's another thing that's making me ask what am I doing wrong overall (other than a lot of author interviews).

Hoping for feedback and maybe some advice. Thanks for your time. VandelBuster (talk) 17:51, 10 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

db-repost tag

[3]. Please do not use this tag without actually verifying its applicability, i.e., "a page that was previously deleted via a deletion discussion, is substantially identical to the deleted version, ... etc". If you are not an admin, you cannot possibly verify this yourself. Staszek Lem (talk) 21:54, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Staszek Lem I actually can see both deleted versions due to edit filters and it seemed nearly identical to me minus one new addition. Also, it's been AFD'd twice, see also Pavlo Hrytsak and deleted as a consequence of both. To say that a non-admin shouldn't tag G4 is a bit silly otherwise it needs to be admin use only and it doesn't warrant a warning, even if it's declined. Curious how you've viewed it while chiding me for the same when you're not an administrator either. And as far as "if you are an admin, you should know better." WP:AGF. Thanks! CHRISSYMAD ❯❯❯¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 21:59, 11 January 2018 (UTC)(edit conflict)[reply]
(talk page stalker) (edit conflict) It is normal for non-admins to use the G4 tag and for admins to review. If there is sourcing after the AfD took place, most admins won't delete the article, but it is very much the norm for non-admins to apply this tag for admin attention. The number of admins who actively patrol new pages is pretty low, so we rely on people like Chrissy to alert us of potential reposts with the G4 tag. TonyBallioni (talk) 22:00, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry for looking nasty. I am not aware of "edit filters" . Please tell me where can I read about them. Now, Back to the case. The Afd was dated 2016, but the article has significant 2017 info. You say yourself "one new addition". I do not know what it was, but being Executive Producer of Eurovision Song & getting an award are significant claims of notability. Staszek Lem (talk) 22:06, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@TonyBallioni: -- Got your point, thanks; will keep this in mind. Staszek Lem (talk) 22:08, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Staszek Lem It's not substantially different and after doing WP:BEFORE it's evident that there is no significant coverage or change from the last two AFDs. One of which was closed in October 2017. Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pavlo Hrytsak. I'm a bit confused as you've commented there as well and knew that the Eurovision stuff was specifically mentioned in that AfD too, meaning it was still deleted on that rationale that affiliation doesn't = notability. CHRISSYMAD ❯❯❯¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 22:09, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I am confused myself.:-) I do not always remember all things I did. Staszek Lem (talk) 22:16, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Chrissymad: Please explain me about "edit filters". Staszek Lem (talk) 22:13, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Staszek Lem, a quick search of Wikipedia will tell you what you need to know. Primefac (talk) 22:15, 11 January 2018 (UTC) (talk page stalker)[reply]
Got it: tells me close nothing I need to know. May be I am dumb, but I still have no slightest idea how I can use them. Staszek Lem (talk) 22:22, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
You don't use them, they're there to catch vandalism (which is why Chrissymad prefers to not have the link here). Primefac (talk) 22:30, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

regarding the zirin article

Regarding this [4] I had already disputed the removal of a perfectly fine reference and invoked BRD at that time and already opened a talk page discussion. User Chetsford has been removing references added by three different editors over and over and over again and replacing them with multiple cn tags to the point where it has become disruptive. Please see the talk page if you care for more information. Thank you. Lacypaperclip (talk) 22:24, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Lacypaperclip This has been disputed by two editors now and it's a BLP meaning it should not be added back to the article until consensus has been reached. It's not disruptive behavior to dispute a non-RS on a BLP. CHRISSYMAD ❯❯❯¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 22:26, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Lacypaperclip - it's customary to ping editors when you make accusations about them. Just a FYI. Thank you! To your point, while I appreciate that the subject of this article has been adding to his own bio "over and over" we do have WP:COI guidelines for a reason. 12:59:44, 12 January 2018 review of submission by Ih-media

Hi Chrissymad,

Thank you for reviewing my article. I have added a more appropriate reference to the article, but their isnt much to go at at the moment in the way of validating the info stated as this is her first major role. All the other members of the Age Before Beauty cast have pages on here, except Vicky, so I thought it would be good to complete the list.

Again, thanks for the hard wk you do & I hope this revision is more acceptable.

Mylittlejob speedy deletion

@Chrissymad: Hi Chrissy, Thanks for the prompt response to my article on Mylittlejob. Can you elaborate how this is promotional vs The Muse or OLX etc.?

The site was actually a student project in the beginning and now affects hundred thousands of college students.

Intellectual integrity asks for consistency and I just want to make sure I get this right.

Any hints on how to make the article more appropriate (and less like the other sites), please let me know.

The company is further fighting Trump's repeal of DACA and has now political impact. I am reporting this from a students perspective working on the site. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mjglr (talkcontribs) 17:23, 12 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Gutting scrypt / SHA256 coin list page

Information icon Hello, I'm Leopheard. I noticed that you recently removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.
I noticed you arbitrarily absolutely gutted the articles for the page List_of_scrypt_crypto_currencies and the same for the SHA256 one. You didn't even bother to even start a discussion on the talk pages, just went ahead and made a list of coins you consider to be valid. The whole point of this article was a quick and easy alternative to the List of cryptocurrencies page. Please be more constructive in the future. This is your first warning leopheard (talk) 01:06, 15 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary.
