Template:Infobox U.S. Route U.S. Route 322 is a U.S. Route that runs for 494 miles (790 km) from Cleveland, Ohio at U.S. Highway 6 easterly to Atlantic City, New Jersey. It passes through the states of Ohio, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. It passes by Philadelphia, Pennsylvania via the Commodore Barry Bridge and goes through the cities of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and State College, Pennsylvania.

In Ohio, Route 322 crosses Cuyahoga, Geauga and Ashtabula Counties.

In Cuyahoga County, Route 322 begins in Downtown Cleveland as Chester Avenue at East Ninth Street in the "Financial District". It runs easterly past Playhouse Square, Cleveland State University, through "Midtown Cleveland" and past the Cleveland Clinic before entering the University Circle cultural district. In University Circle, it briefly merges with US Route 20 (Euclid Avenue), then turns right onto Mayfield Road. As Mayfield Road, Route 322 runs past Lake View Cemetery and through Cleveland's eastern suburbs of Cleveland Heights, South Euclid, Lyndhurst and Mayfield Heights, where it intersects with Interstate 271, and continues through Gates Mills Village and into Geauga County.

Through Geauga and Ashtabula Counties, US 322 continues to be known as Mayfield Road until it crosses the Ohio-Pennsylvania state line. In Geauga County, US 322 passes through suburban Chesterland into Ohio's second largest Amish community, which includes the rural townships of Claridon and Huntsburg on its northern end. In Ashtabula County, US 322 crosses through Windsor Township, the village of Orwell, and Williamsfield Township before crossing the Ohio-Pennsylvania state line south of the Pymatuning Reservoir.

In Pennsylvania, Route 322 is also signed as "The 28th Division Highway", in honor of the 28th Infantry Division. The route crosses the entire state and enters New Jersey via the Commodore Barry Bridge just north of the state of Delaware. In Glassboro, it bisects Rowan University. However, an ongoing construction project, slated for completion in mid- to late-2007, is expected to re-route the highway to the northern side of the campus. Between Mays Landing and Atlantic City it is concurrent with U.S. Highway 40 and comprises a portion of the "Black Horse Pike".

In the 1960's and 1970's the NJDOT had planned for a freeway bypass of U.S. Route 322 around Glassboro. Later it was planned as a New Jersey Turnpike extension, but all plans were dropped due to budget cuts and mounting opposition.
