How Snowden Got the Files
What is the feeling here on including how Snowden came about the NSA files? There have been a couple of news sources exploring some of his methods, but this article does not seem to cover them in any appreciable length:
- How Snowden did it - NBC News - 2013-08-26
- Snowden impersonated NSA officials, sources say - NBC News - 2013-08-29
- Sysadmin security fail: NSA finds Snowden hijacked officials’ logins - ArsTechnica - 2013-08-29

Request for topic ban of Axxxion
I think we should put an end to Axxxion's slow revert war over the Russian asylum and Morale plane incident. -- Sameboat - 同舟 (talk) 23:35, 23 September 2013 (UTC)
- Wrong place. This is the talk page for discussing improvements to the Edward Snowden article. I suggest WP:ANI. --Guy Macon (talk) 06:59, 24 September 2013 (UTC)
- Axxxion is making disruptive edits to THIS particular article, I need comment from other active editors of this article before present it to ANI. -- Sameboat - 同舟 (talk) 09:22, 24 September 2013 (UTC)
- These edits are at least the 4th time the same vandalism has occurred. Here and here are two places this same editing problem was previously addressed. Why is this editor still on Wiki, let alone allowed to edit this article or related ones? Thank you to whoever takes the time to put an end to this :) petrarchan47tc 21:46, 26 September 2013 (UTC)
- After the 5th mass removal by Axxxion, I agree it's time to report him to ANI. Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#Request banning Axxxion from editing Edward Snowden. -- Sameboat - 同舟 (talk) 01:35, 4 October 2013 (UTC)

- You're not going to get a topic ban for a couple of edits, and that's all there is to it. Now, I agree that Axxxion should drop by here, but in the meantime I'll break a lance for them: these edits improve the article. They cut redundant information tangentially related to the subject; trimming the Morales section is perfectly fine and this edit summary, "trimmed the section: now that there is article on the subject, no need for so much verbiage on tangentially relevant incident", is perfectly appropriate. Perhaps editors should look more closely at the merits of the edits and less at the name of the editor making them. And over a week ago, Darrell Greenwood could have found a better way to solve a problem than just revert the lot: they could have summarized a lengthy section whose relevance to Edward Snowden is minor, minor. Drmies (talk) 02:36, 4 October 2013 (UTC)
- I agree with Drmies. That last revert reintroduced text that is duplicated in Evo Morales grounding incident. There is no need to have such a long piece here. Other sections could do with trimming too. -84user (talk) 05:20, 4 October 2013 (UTC)
iPhone fingerprint scanner - privacy/security issues
Impact of iPhone 5S fingerprint reader and the US-VISIT fingerprint gathering program and the possible resultant privacy/security issues due to Mass surveillance of bodies like the NSA; Mass surveillance being a major concern of Mr Snowden, prompting Mr Snowden to leak documents to the public.

Re-add airport to Morales plane incident (see Talk Archive)
See Talk:Edward_Snowden/Archive_3#Morales_plane_incident_2: "There was consensus in a previous discussion that this article should only include aspects of the Morales incident that are directly relevant to Snowden."
The fact that Morales' plane did _not_ take of Sheremetyevo airport is relevant, as Mr. Snowden _was_ at Sheremetyevo at the given time. Please add it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.134.79.1 (talk) 16:39, 29 September 2013 (UTC)
