Signpost (19 March)

Do you want to put File:Goya Maja ubrana2.jpg and File:Goya Maja naga2.jpg side by side at the bottom? Would that work? Or would you rather have File:Petrus Christus - Portrait of a Young Woman - Google Art Project.jpg? yeah, I do too. I was worried about nationalities, topics etc. to get variety, but in the end I go with the pics I like the best. I had an image from the Rhodesian list, but then I put the submarine in - not really fond of it though. The pic from the Rhodesian list was terminally small. I figure two from "Lists", one from "Featured articles" and the rest "Featured pictures". (Unless they suddenly promote some Featured articles.) FP and Rotten Tomatoes

I'm 100% against adding extraneous promotional material to FPs to hype the images with info having nothing to do with the images. (It's on the level of dyk info and lowers the quality of the section.) We should discuss this with the managing editor, Skmo (whatever his name is). This is using FP to hype other stuff. As I said to you in my answer on my talk page, I don't consider the write ups to FAs and FLs "finished". I just stuck them in to get them started, as I've been busy.
