Events
- February 18 - Nickelodeon celebrates the revival of the show The Fairly OddParents with the television film Fairly OddBaby. This has been the first new episode since 2006.
- March 23 - Futurama returns to the air on Comedy Central after its cancellation by Fox in 2003. The series was revived with direct-to video films, and new episodes would air in 2010.
- September 20 - After 11-years, the Toonami block was officially canceled by Cartoon Network.
