The 7th Annual Critics' Choice Television Awards, presented by the Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA), honoring the best in primetime television programming from January 1, 2016 until November 10, 2016, took place on December 11, 2016, at the Santa Monica Airport's Barker Hangar in California.

The nominations were announced on November 14, 2016. HBO leads with 22 nominations, followed by Netflix and ABC with 12 each. Actor and comedian T. J. Miller will host the ceremony.[1] The People v. O.J. Simpson won 4 awards, becoming the biggest winner of the night, followed by Saturday Night Live and Westworld, each of them with two.
