This is a list of countries by avocado production from 2016 to 2018, based on data from the Food and Agriculture Organization Corporate Statistical Database.[1] The estimated total world production for avocados in 2018 was 6,407,171 metric tonnes, up 6.7% from 6,005,285 tonnes in 2017.[n 1] Mexico was the largest producer, account for 34% of global production. Dependent territories are shown in italics.
