Baloda is a village in Rajasthan, India. Its Mandal is Surajgarh and district is Jhunjhunu. It is located 17.7 kilometres (11.0 mi) from Surajgarh, 54.2 kilometres (33.7 mi) from Jhunjhunu, and 157 kilometres (98 mi) from Jaipur.

History

Baloda Thikana Established by Raj shree Thakur sahab dalel singh ji shekhawat. The village Baloda was named Baloda Gotra of Jats. This village was a Jagir of Shekhawati Jagirdars Raj shree Thakur dalel singh ji shekhawat. Raj shree Thakur Dalel Singh ji shekhawat was handed over this village along with 12 other villages in the area. Thakur dalel Singh ji shekhawat in first ruler of pilani and after migrated baloda thikana first ruler of baloda thikana. Thakur dalel Singh ji build dalelgarh fort in pilani . he was brave and perfect warriors during his lifetime. he fought mandan war in 1832.

Shekhawats of this village are of Bhojraj ji clan of Sh. Shardul Singh ji. Dalel Singh ji was son of Thakur Nawal Singh ji of Nawalgarh. After Thakur Dalel Singh ji , his son Thakur Dan Singh ji and Thakur Laxman Singh ji took over the Jagir. Thakur Jiwan Singh ji and Thakur Raghunath Singh ji were sons of Thakur Dan Singh ji . And, Thakur Gopal Singh ji and Thakur Magani Singh ji and Thakur chiman singh ji were sons of Thakur Laxman Singh ji .

The village has a Big Anaj Mandi. The village has all other castes also, like Gurjar, Jat, Brahmin, Bania, Kumhar, Sunar and Meghwal. There are Baloda Jat and Shekhawat Rajput near Jtana Jhor.

The village has a direct bus service to Jaipur. The nearest railway station is Satnali (Haryana) which is 16 km from Balonda. This village has the Sr. Secondary School. Sarpanch LATE Shree Sardar Singh Shekhawat took a keen interest in the upgrading of the village school to a Secondary School in 1966 and invited Chief Minister Sh. Sukhadia to the village for this purpose. The school was upgraded in the time of MRS RAJBALA SONI(sarpanch 1995to2000). The village has many educated people who are employed officers in the Central Government CAG/AG office, Banks, Military, and Education departments. In this village large numbers of persons are in the army, most of them in Rajputana Rifles and Rajput Regiment.
