Bhagwant University is located in Ajmer, Rajasthan, India.[3] It is a co-educational private university in Ajmer in the state of Rajasthan, India. It is a venture of Bhagwant Group of Institutions, Established in 1999. Bhagwant University is a privately funded State University established through an act of State Legislature of Rajasthan. It is registered with University Grants Commission under Section 2(f) of UGC Act 1956.
The courses offered by the University are approved by Bar Council of India (BCI), National Council of Teacher's Education (NCTE),[4] Pharmacy Council of India and it follows standards of All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) for its technical programs. http://bhagwantuniversity.ac.in/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/approval_notice_to_institutions.pdf University is a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), Indian Association of Physiotherapists (AIP), All India Management Association (AIMA). The University is located in rural hinterland of Ajmer.[5]
Academic programs
The main focus area of the University is specializations in Aeronautical, Petroleum, and Mining Engineering, Agriculture Science, Education, Law and Paramedical programs.[6]
Apart from regular UG and PG programs in, University departments also offer research programs of M.Phil and Ph.D. in selected areas of specializations available with it. The University follows UGC norms for award of PhD degree and peer reviewed research articles are published regularly by its research scholars in national and international journals and conferences. Bhagwant University has signed MoU with various international universities.[7] Gannon University USA, Sheffield University UK, Norwegian University of Applied Sciences, and University of Western Australia, Perth, Regenesys Business School Johannesburg South Africa for student and faculty exchange.[7]
