South Africa–Uruguay relations are the relations between Republic of South Africa and Uruguay. South Africa has an embassy in Montevideo.[1] Uruguay has an embassy in Pretoria[2] and a consulate in Durban.[3]

Trade between both countries is very important, with Uruguay selling commodities and agroindustrial products.[4] There is a Uruguayan-African Chamber of Commerce, covering trade between Uruguay and different African countries.[5]

Both countries are full members of the Cairns Group and of the Group of 77.
