JNTUH College of Engineering Manthani (JNTUHCEM or JNTM) is an engineering college in Telangana, India. It is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTU Hyderabad).The College of Engineering, Manthani as a part of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad is committed to the ongoing creation of a vital engineering community animated by a love of learning along with academic excellence and the pursuit of truth. The College strives to foster an environment based on open enquiry and service to the larger community. This mission is undertaken under the aegis of the university with an aim to impart quality, value-based education in various fields of technology.


Branches offered; Mining Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mining and Machinery Engineering.

Location

The college is located in Peddapalli district in Telangana, India, midway between Peddapalli and Manthani Road. It is around 65 km from Karimnagar and 17 km from Godavarikhani.

History

The JNTUH College of Engineering Manthani is established in the year 2010 as a Constituent College of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad vide G.O. Ms. No. 21, Higher Education (E.C.I) Department dated 25.03.2010 to provide Engineering Education to the rural youth of the backward districts of Adilabad, Karimnagar, Nizamabad and Warangal of Telangana State.

This College has been supported by M/s. Singareni Collieries Company Limited for infrastructural development. As a Social obligation the University permitted to provide 5% supernumerary seats in each discipline to the Children’s of the Employees of the M/s. Singareni Collieries Company Limited.
